Kids loved the tour, a real battleship to two small boys is a hell of a space to explore. Great staff and plenty of space below decks if it's raining.

It was good very informative. Go round at your own pace. You are provided with a hand set were you can enter a number of the display you are looking at and the hand set will play you a recorded message of the historical facts

Have always said we'd visit here but never had the time before. My partner & I visited with 10 year old. Found it all really interesting. Was good to wander about - up & down ladders!- so needed to be quite mobile, however, you didn't have to do all of it. Thought it was good how there were models, etc... More

If you're looking for a special group dinner experience for a special occasion - HMS Belfast (hospitality) is a great and unique choice in central London. Nothing better than sipping champagne on the quarterdeck in the evening sun waving at the tourists, and the fact that you're on a real battleship is never far away. Staff were excellent, and whilst... More

We worth a visit. Audio narration give one an idea of what life was light at sea in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Ship is very well maintained although a fee of the anti-aircraft armaments are in need of restoration. Gun turret experience is good although perhaps a little dated in terms of presentation style. Beware, this is a warship... More

The ONLY reason I wanted to visit the Belfast is because my dad served on the ship and I've lived in London for most of my life and never even visited. But I have now! We allowed 2 hours and had to leave with literally half the tour still to do, so don't turn up at 4.00 like we did!... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
