Just enjoyed a waffle with the best chocolate and hazelnut ice cream I have ever tasted. I even found a whole hazelnut in the ice cream! The place was laid out in a strange way and the toilet was broken. The staff were smiley. A shame that the building and toilet let them down as the ice cream was great!

I have been going here even since it opened, when it was bright and light and you could sit and watch the ice cream been made. Been three time in the last two months and after today finding for the third time they do not have Bananas for a Banana split I looked around. Gone has the view to the... More

A great Italian ice- cream shop with a huge choice of flavours, good portions and great for kids. A good location in London conveniently situated near Holland Park so a good stop after going to the playground.

For a place that claims to serve Italian style gelato, the coffee was embarrassing. We ordered a double macchiato and received a small latte. The ice cream and the waffles however, were delicious! Good service also! Altogether: worth a second visit(!!) (just next time I'll ask for the non-uk version of the coffee)..

Gelato Mio in Holland Park Avenue is the latest in a series of VERY EXPENSIVE Ice Cream parlours in Holland Park / Kensington. A rather scruffy, badly designed place with a toilet located in the middle! £3.90 for two sccops of fairly average ice cream. I think that there have to be better options.

very reasonably priced and generous portions unlike some other gelato places. The entrance is a bit dingy but plenty of seating outside and towards the back.

Really good traditional ice cream and well located at end of portobello market for a post market ice cream. It can be very busy but it's worth the wait.

The establishment was busy on a Saturday afternoon with the queue extending through the door on to the pavement. Service was leisurely. My wife and I both had sorbets and the flavour and texture was among the best that we have had anywhere. The seating area was busy and the tables were in need of cleaning, which was done for... We walked in having heard it was in the area, just after a picnic at Holland Parks' Kyoto Gardens. There was no greeting and the place was practically empty, so looking at the selections, we weren't impressed. It may even have been a bit dingy, besides, if I cant find the right variety of chocolate, one must pause and postulate.... More

Those of you that follow my reviews know that I have a very sweet tooth and my weakness and love is ice cream :) If you are not paying too much attention it is easy to walk past this ice cream establishment. Today Saturday about 2pm it was mildly warm there was a queue of some 5 peaple waiting to... More
