Its not fair of me to compaire prices in London with those in Manchester, but I will say it was around 300% more than I would pay here for the same meal. Not great food not a great choice but on par with other places in the location.

I had some squid. The worst I have ever eaten. I offered them to others who did not want to eat them either. Rubber and tasted burnt chewy and awful. How can these people serve such terrible food and get away with it. The usual rich people in Putney who have nowhere to go and are forced to be ripped... More

This pub has great potential! It is located in Putney, with a great view of the Thames. I was there late afternoon on a Monday, so it was very quiet, which actually was very enjoyable. This is also a difficult time of day to judge a restaurant. I had the shrimp, bacon, and avocado salad, with a pint of bitters,... More

Met with friends at The Dukes Head, the decor is lovely, great location, but food was overpriced for the quality. We had the lamb, which was dry and didn't have much gravy, so asked for more and was amazed to see we were charged extra for it. Two glasses of wine and just a main meal came to over £30... More

My daughter, my friend and I went here today for lunch. The food was amazingly tasty and the wine was good too. We also enjoyed the service of the waiter. It has a lovely view and great decor. We would go again.

Unfortunately this place is overpriced for what you are being offered. Portions are small, prices are high and variety is poor. They only have 4 starters to choose from, and 7 main as well. Average price for starters is £7 and for main £15. If you are hungry this is definitely not your place. You would expect it to have... More

I had a great lunch here before the Fulham Newcastle match on a lovely sunny Saturday. This restaurant is superbly located on the River Thames with awesome views of the river. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is friendly with a good buzz and feel to it. The menu was ok and the fish is superb. Good sized portion and the... More

The Duke's Head needs to thank its location as it is rightly on the Thames near Putney Bridge. I went there for few drinks before, but this time was the first one to have food while watching a movie (as on Sunday night they project movies for "free") and it will probably be the last one. They're advertising the Sunday... More
