Bengal Cuisine is run by Mr. Kazi and Mrs Kazi. They are both from Bengal. The colorful varied history of the Bengal region is reflected in its diverse khana, Fish is the national dish so it is perhaps no surprise that it is the Fish Tikka curry dish that won Mrs Kazi her the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Curry Chef of the year Award.

Excellent service and value

Go here all the time with flatmates. Amazing value, treated very well and the staff are always up for a laugh. One of the few places on Brick Lane where you are charged exactly what the tout said you would be. Food is good but nothing out of the ordinary in Brick Lane - all in all one of our... read more

Offered a deal of poppadums, starter, main course, naan and 2 drinks each for £9.99 per person by tout outside restaurant. It was quite busy inside, service was quick. Food good. We were happy to pay more than the £9.99 per head.

Food is just great. Everything about it is original and genuine. Service treat You nearly as a king. Plenty of choices from menu. You should get what They offer as a prelude. I don't know what it is, but it's full of flavours.

I am writing this review, because I got no sleep last night. The food was the worst presented dishes I have ever seen. The modern exterior is a deception. The interior is straight out of an old peoples home. With stains and all. The starters we ordered were just slapped on to the plate with no TLC. The naan bread... More

Me and my hubby went on a saturday around 18:15.It was dead quiet and were tricked inside by some promoters standing outside for £12pp, 2 round of drinks, starter, main, rice, naan each.Starter was 2 bites and it was gone,Saag aloo (potato and spinach) was nice but worst was the Lamb Shaslick from the Tandoori oven. 6 Mini pieces of lamb and LOTS of... This restaurant is sort of amazing for its incredible value. For £9.95 in the evening, you get a starter, main dish, rice, naan and two drinks. Seriously. And the food is good - the naan and rice especially, my peshwari naan and mushroom pilau rice were delicious. I had samosas for a starter and a prawn curry for the main,... More

This is one of the best Lamb Madras dishes I have ever tasted! The spice blend is just right with a truly wonderful taste. The naan bread came piping hot with melted honey on the top whilst the rice was excellent. This restaurant has big picture windows so you can street view all night long. Well worth a visit.

Brick Lane has long had a reputation for really good value restaurants and personally, I've never been disappointed there. With so many restaurants available, they simply HAVE to provide good quality food and good prices or they will soon disappear. However to find one that stands out above the crowd is almost as rare as finding a poor one one.... More

As usual, very friendly service, good quality tasty food, reasonably priced and chicken vindaloo to fie for, this without a doubt my favourite indian restaurant in London,
