I have been to this restaurant twice and the food has been great both times. I have never booked but it does get busy at random times. You can't be really hungry when you go as the food takes ages to come, but it is well worth the wait. Its hot spicy and delicious. Admittedly it lacked ambiance, I wouldn't... More

Too lazy to cook on New Year's day evening, we dropped down to Addiscombe for a curry. We hadn't been to the Zafran for many years. The welcome was warm. The menu is good, with the usual curry options plus some house specialities. We both chose a fish main course. The food was not quick to arrive but it was... More

I eat here fairly regularly - the service is friendly, the food is yummy and always a treat to go. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but I overlook that because of the food! I think it is best Indian in the area.

Sag Paneer and King Prawn Passanda to die for. Lovely little restaurant. Perfection took a little while but it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Good service. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I popped into this restaurant based on the numerous positive reviews on trip advisor. Unfortunately our experience did not live up to the expectation. From the get go, the waiters seemed distracted and it took a while to order. Once we had ordered, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did, it... More

What can I say, the standard here has never dropped. The staff are very attentive but not intrusive. Food was 1st class. Definetly the best Indian I have been to. Good quality produce. Buffett menu is very good value. Wines and beers reasonably priced. Highly recommend both the food and staff.

Recently visited Zafran whilst staying with family in Croydon... Service was fantastic and food was of excellent standard. It was a Saturday night so very busy. This place held a really relaxed atmosphere and prices were also very reasonable, Considering we had 3 courses. Will definitley visit again when I'm In the area.

This is a lovely little restaurant. We have visited on many occasions for the Sunday Buffet which really is good value for money. You get a nice starter and a delicious buffet selection (chicken, prawn, vegetables and lamb curries). The service is always attentive. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and will return again.
