I love this restaurant. The food was delicious with interesting dishes. The wine was also good. The service was really special; it was discreet, efficient, friendly and charming. We were lunching with friends and had lots to say to each other whilst the staff took orders, served us attentively and never once interrupted our conversation. The price for the set... More

Recommended by an old friend when I needed a very classy restaurant with ambience. Angelus is just great , excellent wines , if you have won the lottery check out the very fine wines. I went with a discerning chef , he was impressed. So was I. Food to savour for a long time , top service , the chef... More

Stumbled on Angelus when staying nearby. We got lucky and had the last table for two available, even though we had no reservation. One fish, one steak: both exceptional. Wine list (needless to say in a restaurant named after an Appellation) to die for. Prices at the top end obviously set for the local Russian Oligarchs, but super-friendly and not-at-all... More

I chose this restaurant mainly due to location but also because it looked nice, and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms are lovely decorated, very comfortable and with wonderful booth style seating, a particular favourite of mine. Food is very good, different, and plates are of good size, always a bonus. Service was fantastic and we were made to feel very... More

They serve an all day brunch at Angelus with a variety of choice and good value dishes! The only slight dissapointment were the desserts which all lacked a little bit of something special to make them stand out. The service was great and we felt very relaxed and cosy!

I love this place. An oasis of tranquility in the middle of crazy Lancaster Gate. OK - it is pricey. OK - it is a whole evening's entertainment not an in-and-out-in-sixty kind of s place. But if you want proper conversations with your friends and family, or lovers and business colleagues, this is the place. Fantastic food. French in a... More

Their knowledge of their menu and wines was very good and well placed comments definitely helped us to enjoy the experience to the full. I could on and on telling you about all the... More

I've chosen this place by chance as it's close to my hotel. RestaurAnt is nicely furnished with Art Deco fin de siècle forniture . Service is discreet and very pro-active. I had ham as a starter with some special sauce and fillet as main course, tender and juicy . Red wine Cabernet from South France was also enjoyable. Relatively expensive... More

Went there for my Birthday as part of a weekend away in London and it was perfect. Lovely intimate restaurant with friendly attentive staff giving excellent service. The food was artistically presented and very tasty. I will definitely go back there to try some more delights next time I’m in the area.
