Good pub

Traditional english food, good service. The equivalent to a sports bar in the US. Fish and chips are thick crusted, the pies are so nice.

This restaurant was perfect for my 12 year old son (limited "likes" burgers were perfect, "we should do this everyday") and me with a more eclectic taste that wants to try more local food. Fabulous experience. Amazing wait-staff.

We couldn't leave London without eating the classic English fish and chips we think we made the correct choice in picking the restaurant The fish was cooked to perfection and the portions were very generous we throughly enjoyed our meal

Cute little Pub. They'll bring you a menu but you need to go to the bar to order. Had Fish & Chips and Chicken Chardonnay and Pancetta Pie. Both were very tasty. Medium expensive, but we were able to walk from our hotel so that was a big plus.

Two birthdays in a row, I've been taken out for the Full English Breakfast at Earl's Court Tavern. I love Earl's Court anyway, but this tavern is especially nice, clean and friendly. Great Full English Breakfast!! Reasonable price too!

It's not surprising that like other places in that areas of London this place is acting like a tourist trap - high price, regular beer and boring food, all in a English decor. the stuff was unpleasant and very, very....slow even thug there it was pretty empty. Food was nothing but boring, nothing special to tell about, no taste what... More

Great pub, lovely food, friendly staff, just get there early as it fills up fast. Went back here as many times as we could manage during our trip!

From the outside, this looks like the perfect tavern and it's quite nice inside too. The sign outside draws in tourists with the promise of the best fish n chips in London. All I can say is please don't be fooled. the prices are ridiculous for What can only be described as warmed up ready meals. there's certainly no home cooking... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
