Great pub, lovely food, friendly staff, just get there early as it fills up fast. Went back here as many times as we could manage during our trip!

From the outside, this looks like the perfect tavern and it's quite nice inside too. The sign outside draws in tourists with the promise of the best fish n chips in London. All I can say is please don't be fooled. the prices are ridiculous for What can only be described as warmed up ready meals. there's certainly no home cooking... More

Myself and 4 Canadian friends were staying in Earls court. One friend in the party was keen to try a traditional Sunday roast as she'd never had one. This looked like the perfect place within walking distance of our accommodation. How wrong we were. Priced at £13.29 we were expecting fantastic things. One word to describe the meal...terrible. Flat and... More

Traditional English pub with a good choice of beers on tap and great food. Good portions and excellent value. Great atmosphere too with very friendly and chatty staff.

My wife wanted to stop because the place looked nice and they had a sign claiming to have the best Fish and Chips in London. I had the steak and ale pie and we shared a pint of beer. You have to seat yourself and order and pay at the bar. They bring the food to your table. My wife... More

A great place for a pint and good pub food. One of the many places around Earl's Court my friends and I frequented often. It is a fun place to hang out at night and the usuals are a good bunch. Or if you are looking for a quieter setting, lunchtime is always nice. Might I suggest the fish and... More

I visited Earls Court Tavern with my boyfriend because I wanted to have the traditional fish and chips. For me it was great, very large portions and relatively reasonable prices, but he had a burger and he hated it, something tasted weird. I would recommend it, but for fish and chips only.

We were I London for the weekend 20th to 22nd February and went in this tavern for a quick drink before going across to Nandos. While there we scanned the menu and looked at the food coming out and decided to stay and have a meal there. We ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos and the fish and chip platter. The... More

I went to this pub over the weekend. I wanted a Sunday roast. The place was very friendly and i picked my own table and ordered food at the bar. I ordered a pork dinner and a coke. The coke was awful, it had an after taste. The bar staff did bring me another which tasted the same so i... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
