Excellent food but expensive.....and noisy

My wife and I come here occasionally. We had 8 different nigiri between us and all were delicious and about £3 each on average. I found the mackerel and fatty tuna particularly great although the tofu was also particularly good. We followed this by a full sized chicken katsu curry (as opposed to... read more

Love this place. It's a little more expensive than I'm used to, but it's one of few japanese restaurants which do equally good sushi and hot food. There are many places these days which do sushi only or noodles only, or if they do both they tend to be better at sushi. Well this one is great at both. Highly... More

We went early on a Saturday night as a family. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was fresh and excellent - the hamachi sushi was some of the best we've ever eaten. I wish the gyoza was authentically made from pork rather than chicken, but I understand it will appeal to more people that way. So the... More

I am a huge fan of Japanese food and have eaten at many Japanese restaurants in London and across the globe. Kiraku is still the best I have been to, with Sushi Rapture in San Francisco a close second. It is an unassuming restaurant, in the style of a Japanese canteen, but don't let that put you off as the... More

My wife loves her sushi and I come back here as its fresh, tasty and high quality! Definitely try this place😎 It's our local sushi in Ealing and is best I've tasted in London. Very friendly and efficient service every time.

...that keeps the tradition. Often you go to a Japanese restaurant it is run by westerners or the chefs don't even speak a word of Japanese. This little gem keeps it all traditional and it is great. Really friendly staff and management. The sisters who run the restaurant are always there. Meat are also exceptionally fresh and of the best... More

The two high points are the deep fry fresh shrimp, sweet, juicy and crispy. very good for beer. Deep fry oyster is yum. We ordered stir fry thin noodle and sushi but the rice let us down. The bill came and my jaw drop.... a bit... We should go to XXX in chiswick instead.

Right outside Ealing Common station, this is a conveniently-placed informal restaurant/sushi bar with some of the best Japanese food in the country. It's the most authentic stuff I've seen outside of Japan. It isn't cheap, but this is mostly a reflection of their costs - fantastic fish like theirs can't come cheap. Service can be a little inconsistent - never... More

Delicious and authentic and a great variety of dishes to pick from albeit a tad expensive! This is a chef's recommended place and we were disappointed with any of the dishes we ordered - The Dragon roll was our favourite by far!
