The most welcoming and seductive restaurant in London. I can never think of any reason to go anywhere else ... except maybe for the odd curry or kebab. But for great ceremony, art of the table, and wine list ... BBR is my #1 destination for happiness.

Was recommended BBR by a friend and we chose to take up his advice to pop in and have a late lunch. Fab location, great decor and super atmosphere albeit with a touch of privacy. We don't visit London regularly so when in town we like to splash out a little and in this case we did; starting off with... More

We were running slightly late due to being stuck in unexpected London traffic and if one other member of our party had not been there I think we may have lost our table! Thankfully we didn't. The atmosphere was really great, I'd recommend this restaurant based on that alone. The decor is very kitsch, but if you love a bit... More

BBR used to be fantastic, the building remains mostly unchanged but the atmosphere and service have died since it's Russian takeover. A real shame as it was a real gem. The beautiful art deco interior remains however the service is sullen and intrusive, arms stretched over you mid conversation, not a please, thank you or smile in sight. It has... More

Have now eaten Saturday lunch in this restaurant twice and I love it. It doesn't look much from the outside but it is lovely inside. Staff are immaculate in their dress and service. Tables are booth style, comfortable with very good crystal glasses. The menu is very good offering European and Russian food. Prices are reasonable. The food is beautifully... More

Fantastic venue, excellent service and the food was great. Not a single complaint from 15 of us. Time between each dish was greats. Cocktails and champagne kept flowing. Will be back.

Occasion: husband's birthday with his cousins. Atmosphere: it's Russian extravaganza with the elegance of Europe. You fee like you're on the polar express! Food: we had the baked oyster for a starter. It's a good price for what you get. For main we had lobster mac and cheese is a must! There are huge chucks of lobster in the Mac... More

I decided to take my partner to Bob Bob for his birthday and am really glad I did! We arrived slightly late but were warmly welcomed and were told it was not a problem, we were then escorted to our booth and given menus. We had great fun choosing our dishes but decided to split everything as we couldn't make... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
