It's been a while since I went there (April, 2015) but having just joined Trip Advisor I thought I should mentioned what was a disappointing evening, food-wise. For about £100 per person including drinks I'd expect significantly better food than this. The beef wellington was good but everything else I tried (including my partner's and some of my guest's food)... More

We visited for a special occasion (two couples) in the evening on August 13th. We sat at the bar downstairs for a drink beforehand, the bar tender took a while to get our drinks to us, then delivered the wrong order. Once seated, it soon became apparent that the staff are the weak link here. They're reasonably friendly but lack the... More

Lovely restaurant, lovely waiters, nice ambiance. Best wine I have ever tasted! felt the trip was slightly ruined as we had a table right next to the door so didnt get to see much of the whole restaurant. Will visit again!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most lovely, friendly staff and during the course of the evening, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a great buzz, but was not too overwhelming and you still felt relaxed and very comfortable. The cocktails, food and of course the champagne were all fantastic and we really could... More

Enjoyed lunch at BBR in opulent surroundings and superb service. I enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese which was very flavourful and washed down with rose champagne. Good portions though you would expect so considering the price. We sat in the ground level blue, Art Deco dining room and managed to poke my head into the shiny new red club... More

Admittedly, we were attracted to the restaurant for the acclaimed "press for champagne" button. Having eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world, we knew this was an experience we would never forget and we were right on! Service was impeccable, atmosphere was as other reviewers have noted very Gatsby-esque, a very glamorous throwback if you will. Quiet... More

I was invited to dine in the basement of this restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise: beautifully decorated room, delicious franco-russian classical food and to top the evening, there was a great musician show. Highly recommend.

We booked for a special birthday party and could not have been more impressed with both the service and food. The decor is luxurious and the service attentive but not over the top. The steak is top quality and very tender, equally the chicken and champagne pie was excellent. We tried the signature desert which was good. We did feel... More

Imagine you are sat on the orient express, that's just how the restaurant is designed. Love the button by the table to push for champagne. Food is delicious, service amazing and definitely one of my top 10.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
