A small restaurant, the service is very good. The meals are tastefully prepared. We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 nights later. I had the lamb vindaloo the first evening and the 5 chili rated Bangalore Phall the second night. I like hot food so enjoyed this dish, but it is extremely hot. My wife had the Chicken... More

We always think the best Indian meals we eat are in London. Shikara lived up to that expectation. The food was delicious and the service excellent. This restaurant is in the S. Kensington part of London. I highly recommend it.

Quiet but excellent food and great value for central London. Tucked away on the back streets just 10 min walk from Oxford Circus, we found this on Tripadvisor when looking for a unplanned curry after a long day in London. Excellent and well worth a visit!

This small indian restaurant offers traditional indian dishes at a reasonable price. Waiters are kind and making all efforts to answer your questions. Food is tastful and in nice portions; you really feel the various expected spices in your plate! Definitely a good address to stop while in the neighbourhood.

Don't order off the menu! Ask them for a Murg Mussalam, you don't need anything else, maybe some Naan if you're feeling hungry! Enough to feed a horse, great quality, great value...

I ate there last Saturday lunchtime. The service was friendly and fine, and the food was ok, but uninspiring. I stayed a while, as I had time to kill, and for the whole period I was the only diner in the place. Although they were doing moderately lively take-away business. I got the impression that Saturday lunchtime was a slow... More

It's a nice and elegant place in South Kensington. I was there at lunch with my family and we had very good Indian food. Service is fine and prices are expensive .

We stopped by around 10 something at night after a show in West End. Couldn't find anyplace else serving food and we were starving. This place was on our walk back to the flat. It served its purpose of feeding us late, but the tikka masala, naan and daal were all pretty uninspired...like out of the jar sauce and microwaved... More

VERY BAD. Ordered a take-away. I don't think chicken can be drier. Saag paneer was bad, too. Okra dish mush as horribly overcooked. Mango chutney had a funny aftertaste. AVOID.
