This was a surprise dinner. I was told to get dressed up and thank goodness I did. The service was impeccable. The food was seasonal, cooked to perfection and served with a flourish. We felt cosseted and floated home on a cloud. While formal it was not intimidating and the sommelier was helpful i navigating us throught the extensive wine... More

A wonderful combination of classic French cuisine in an elegant dining room in a luxury Hotel. My Tournedos de boeuf Rossini was memorable, it was so classic French and so perfectly done. Service is immaculate and the Sommelier is one of the best in London. It is common for super chefs to spread their brand globally and it frequently does... More

We came here for lunch on 27th March 2015 to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we were disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive recommending what food and wine they thought would be best for us. We opted for the Lunch Hour menu which is £60pp including three courses, 2 glasses of wine, still water and tea o coffee. Along... More

Having experienced 1* and 2* Michelin dining, my partner & I decided to go for the 3* experience and we weren't disappointed. Amazing food, great service and friendly place. It wasn't cheap but then it was, in our opinion, still good value because the food was so amazing, flavoursome and immaculately presented...worth every penny. The waiters were attentive and knowledgeable... More

Spent a wonderful evening here with my wife very recently. Having dined at quite a few other Michelin star restaurants (but never a 3) we had high hopes, and we were certainly not disappointed. We opted for the 4 courses and found the presentation and taste of all dishes spectacular. The staff were fantastic, everything was explained clearly to us.... More

We have tried a few michelin-starred restaurants in London but it was our first time at Alain Ducasse and we just loved it! We booked the table lumiere for Saturday night, the round table and floral display were lovely and an excellent start to our time at the restaurant. We all have been impressed by the beauty of the room!... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
