To celebrate a significant birthday, I was treated to 2 nights at The Dorchester with dinner at Alain Ducasse on my birthday. Having eaten in many of the top London restaurants my expectations were high particularly as we had being saving Alain Ducasse for a very special occasion. I can honestly say I loved everything about restaurant. The decor was... More

I visited with a group of friends on a weekday. The food was extremely good, one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the decor and the staff was very friendly. I had 2 issues that stopped it from receiving 5 stars. The first was the accent on some of the staff, almost all the staff was... More

What to say, well it was one of the best meals I have eaten, tasting menu was superb and wines very good, the only downside is the cost! Lobster and truffle was the one! Probably a once a year place though. Also had a drink in the bar afterwards, just a classy place all round.

We decided to have a birthday lunch here as the a la carte menu has such a good range, including a variety of fish. From the greeting at the door of the Dorchester all the way through lunch, service was efficient, helpful and friendly - not too starchy! The food was exquisite - we decided to stick with the a... BOOK IN ADVANCE, two months ahead of time ideally. My boyfriend brought me here for dinner and I was spoiled rotten. We chose the tasting menu and accompanying wines. Both were luxurious and delicous. The service was impeccable, they put a candle in my dessert (aaawww) and as soon as I blew it out it was whisked away with silver... More

I went here for a birthday dinner, and it really was a truly memorable evening. The food, wine, decor and service were all as you'd expect from a 3* Michelin restaurant: all were absolutely stunning and just perfect. This is definitely somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. The food was exciting and contemporary, and the accompanying wine with each course... More

I have dined multiple times at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester (ADAD) and my experience has always been positive. I was looking for the perfect venue to propose to my girlfriend and it had to be over dinner. ADAD was top of my list with the 'Table Lumiere' private dining room the ideal setting. I have dined in the Table... More

Having not been here for sometime, we visited it for their set lunch. I had the braised ox cheek and my wife had the stone bass. They were both perfection. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff with faultless service. Table 24 is a nice one for a couple. Have already rebooked for a special birthday occasion.

We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a long time and had high expectations - I'm glad to say we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the hotel (see separate review) - having booked the restaurant before booking a room. When I booked for dinner I was told the only option was for a very early meal -... More

We decided to splurge on a lunch at Alain Ducasse, as we felt the price of dinner was just too much to justify. What a wonderful lunch it turned out to be! We arrived at the hotel, and were escorted through the beautiful (and packed) lobby lounge by a staff member. Despite the fact that we arrived with a big... More
