I never got to eat here, i think its fair to say that i never will! I have had many meals in the worlds best restaurants so when American Express advised me they had a special offer with Alaine Ducasse offering a memorable experience i booked a table for 4. The bottom line is that i was unable to make... More

I couldn't resist the prospect of dining at a 3 Michelin starred restaurant for a very reasonable 55 pounds per person, so my wife and I duly made a reservation for lunch. From the beginning to the end, the service was superb - the staff were friendly but not over familiar, attentive but not obtrusive. There was none of the... More

As with George P I have eaten at a number of 2/3 star restaurants in Europe. But this where any similarities in the review stop. Myself and my cousin (a wine dealer from Australia) decided to treat our selves to a special night out, as we don't get to see much of each other, and we were not dissappointed. From... More

Treated the husband to a birthday lunch here and we were pretty much blown away with the decor and how you can still enjoy some sort of privacy when you have your meal. There is a good selection of starters and entrees and can satisfy one's craving. Albeit not cheap, you do get what you pay for with the excellent... More

Beautiful surroundings as expected. Astounding flower displays! Food was incredibly well presented and very well accomplished. I would strongly recommend their halibut. Melt in a mouth! Menu and wine lists are very extensive. Only the best will do. Deeply regret not trying their deserts. Kept glancing at other people's plates...Yum! Must confess to stealing some from my partner's plate!! Amazing... More

By way of context I have never felt compelled to post a review before but my dining experience at Alain Ducasse was so noteworthy that I thought I would share my experience. I have eaten at many 2/3 starred restaurants in England and France and found the majority of the meals to be very enjoyable whether they were ordering from... More

After living abroad for nearly a year, we booked a few fine dining experiences in London, for the short time we were there. Alain Ducasse was on our shortlist, because of all the Michelin stars and friend recommendations. Went for an anniversary lunch in July and can say that although it was good, the food and service was not "wow".... More

I have had lunch here on no less than 8 occasions and the service, food and atmosphere are second to none. There are nice touches like the "cheese puffs" and variety of breads on offer. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is outstanding as are the petit fours.....well worth a visit and the set lunch with wine... More

Being one of just four restaurants in the country which have the much coveted three Michelin stars can sometimes be a problem. The sheer weight of expectation is huge, and the bill similarly so. I ate with a group of friends and while we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I am afraid that it was no better than any of the... More
