The food was superb in taste and presentaion and well worth the cost , the service more than adequate. Well worth the visit if you fancy yourself a foodie-but take your hungry shoes with as the food is ample and in with certain dishes quiet rich.

We felt 'spoilt' from the moment we started our dining experience. It was an Anniversary dinner (we are gay - staff knew and did not bat an eyelid which was unusual given my appearance in particular). All staff from our wonderful table waiter, Eamonn to the Maître d and the sommelier, Dorian were immensely warm and helpful. Having read an... More

The lunch menu for £60 is an absolute steal, exquisite food, drink and service from start to finish. Few places manage service that is timely, unobtrusive and respectful but AD does this impeccably. A freebie of featherlight black pepper and cheese gougeres kick off the set lunch. Then some bread about 8 to choose from, have 2 madam/sir...butter and a... More

I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times I had the tasting menu ( changes) and it was delicious. The flavours are wonderful. The service is impeccable. The attention the staff give to you is perfect. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are looking for Michelin star food and service go! The atmosphere is nice- setting is... More

Arrived at Alain Ducasse restaurant at the Dorchester to dine for my 50th birthday. We did not inform the restaurant of my birthday as I don't like birthday paraphernalia taking place from the overall dining experience. On arrival we were treated to warm gougere - mourish little pastries. We were treated very well by the staff and the sommelier chose... More

I had a dinner with my friends in this restaurant. We opted for the truffle testing menu which was excellent. Both the restaurant ambiance and service was outstanding.

Amazing setting! Beautiful Hotel and sublime restaurant with subtle elegance in abundance! Service was absolutely perfect! Waiter, Sommelier and assistants were spot on in their recommendations and very friendly without being stuffy. Food was almost there, but a dish or two were not quite up to 3 stars Michelein rating. The lobster appetizer was wonderful, and the desert sponge cake,... More

We have been going to Alain Ducasse restaurants for years in Paris (at 2 of them), in Monaco, in St Tropez, in Las Vegas and we loved it every time. But we never tried the one at the Dorchester in spite of going to the Dorchester almost every week for some business. Some dear friends were coming from Prague this... More
