Great food but need some patience!

We love Princi, we always stop by here for lunch whenever we are in London. The food is always great, lots of fresh salads, pizza, Italian hot dishes, we are never disappointed, we are spoilt for choice. Very friendly atmospheric place! Cool design- large communal tables, menu displayed on a huge board. Service was average - waited too long despite there being not too many people. The waitor serving us probably could not speak very good English - when I asked for mustard, he brought salt... Not quite the same, now is it? Poached eggs on toast... More

Went there with friends for brunch. We've waited for at least 20 minutes to get our tap water, our drinks were mixed up and our food was served one by one. However, the food was really nice and the design is very cool.

First of all, I have to let you know that I'm huge fan of pizza. Like no kidding with it, this is my - and by FAR - favorite meal EVER (not to say the only meal I would wish if it were my last meal) ! So when it came to picking out a restaurant to celebrate my birthday... More

I went to Princi for breakfast, on a friend's recommendation. I got there quite late, around 9.15 and it was already quite quiet and empty. I found the amount of options on show a bit bewildering but I had poached eggs with salmon and brown toast, plus an amazing Greek yogurt with fruit. I did't think it was too expensive.... More

Very modern, with pizza and other foods lined up behind a counter, you selected then went and sat down at a large, shared table. Seating was a little hard to find and chaotic but not too bad. My husband and I pointed to the pizza slices we wanted and they didn't offer to heat them in the oven, they just... More

I went with a couple of my friends because they were dying to have pizzas in London and everyone recommended Princi to us. Boy were we glad we went! Princi is located in the buzzing Soho London area, surrounded by bars and people and nightlife. Princi itself is always crowded, we had to wait for an hour to be seated... More

Excellent modern Italian with great good service and buzz. Can't book but has lots of space and if you want it quick turnaround so worth a short wait. Menu to suit wide range if tastes and appetites and cakes superb. Has lively cosmopolitan clientele and is in a terrific location close to shops and theatre.

Princi has lost it's gloss and the last couple of visits have been disappointing. The pizza is very doughy and has a meagre topping, the salads aren't as fresh and interesting as they used to be and the hot food selection is poor. Loud music from large speakers pointing at the tables encourages clientele to eat up and leave quickly.... More

I have made it my absolute goal to try all the Italian places in London and Princi is a good choice. My friend ordered Calzone and I tried the bresaola pizza which was very good. We had a chocolate desert that was very good! Service was great and ok prices for Soho.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
