Great food, bad service

The food is really nice, especially if you go there for an early lunch, when everything is being freshly taken out of the oven and displayed. I love their cannoli. I would go more often, but the staff are incredibly slow and disorganised. Queuing at the bar is a nightmare as they have no system and... read more

This is a regular haunt for breakfast or a takeaway lunch. There is always a huge selection of savoury & sweet pastries plus light lunch. Superb decor and the staff all seem to be Italian so sometimes their English is limited. Consistently great coffee.

I've been coming to Princi bakery for a number of years and today they did not let me down. I had the Chocolate Praline cake which tasted as good as it looked! they had so much selection it's hard to choose but they all look impeccable. Apart from the sweet items they do have savory items too which is good... More

I really like this place. The restaurant side is very nice even if you don't fancy a pizza. I took the aspargus and it was lovely. The other side is more like a snack place and the pizza aren't that great but the desserts and the coffee are lovely. Back from my trip to Sicily,I was looking for some traditional... More

Having walked around Soho all afternoon, we wanted to sit down for a light lunch/snack/drink. After passing by numerous Pho, Thai, and overly priced restaurants, we finally settled for Princi. From the outside, the place looked really nice and I'm a sucker for window seating in the city. The story inside was completely different. The food was left in the... More

We usually come for Sunday breakfast (which we rate highly) and thought we would try the pizza. The pizzas are better, than average (for London), but not up to standard of pizza found in Italy. The service, although very friendly, was poor. Difficult to catch waiter's attention. It is reasonably priced. About £10 for a pizza, made with nice ingredients.... More

I had a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of pizza. The hot chocolate was very tiny, tasted average and costed 3.50. The pizza also tasted average.

Good service, interesting meals (ricotta and aubergine starter, octopus and polenta & delicious pizza) and wine for 2 at a very reasonable price

I have walked past Princi's numerous times and always wondered what an earth is this? I could never work it out. Was it a grand bakers, a uber deli or a cool chic brasserie. For a mate's birthday we went elsewhere for dinner but went for a late night cake and drink at Princi's and by God I am glad... More
