Great Neighborhood Place

Traditional Italian food prepared and served by the family. This is a relaxed, welcoming place. The pastas and salads are all good and they know how to make a steak.

Can't recommend this place highly enough! Without a doubt the best Italian I've ever had! Garlic bread is the same size as a pizza perfect for sharing, bruschetta is always tasty, calzone are huge and full to the brim, they do a seafood special that is served from a brown paper bag that is divine! The wine is always delicious!... More

It was a warm July evening in central London. 'Where should we go for supper?' I asked, knowing the answer, and already poised to make the call. Exiting the tube at Russell Square, we strolled through Bloomsbury, past GOS, to The Lamb, where we sipped a cool beer as we watched our pavement table being prepared next door at the... More

Great food and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the vibe and had a great time there for my sisters birthday. Had grilled sardines to start hat were perfectly seasoned and a seafood spaghetti for a main which was exceptional. Would recommend the place to anyone.

I have been to Ciao Bella on a couple of occasions but have just got round to reviewing. I love Italian and can say that this is one of the best in London, the food is delicious. If you do visit, the lobster spaghetti and seafood spaghetti are one to try. A lot of reviews mention the bad service and... More

This is a lovely restaurant with upstairs downstairs and outside seating. The muscles are amazing as is the seafood pasta, they have a good selection of wines, the staff are pleasant and the service is speedy seating can be a little cramped be sure to make a reservation on warm evenings and weekends as it gets incredibly busy.

I have been multiple times and each time the food is amazing. it is home cooked and certainly not from frozen or microwaved. reasonable prices makes this a must visit time and time again!

We went twice, so had 4 different meals. May be the best Italian food we ever had. Nice people, not fancy place, just great food. Eat inside or on the sidewalk, in a nice part of town. We love the place, and will definitely go back when we return to London.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
