This restaurant is, (or appears to be) family run and is always full. It is noisy and manic in a pleasing way and the service is excellent. The food was very, very good and was reasonably priced. I paid just over £60 for two of us for a two course meal each including a bottle of wine and coffees... read more

Been to Ciao Bella's numerous times over the years and it's a great buzzy neighbourhood restaurant but sadly i do think they need to sort out a few gripes! Firstly a couple of the staff were miserable and bordering on rude! Yes it was a busy lunchtime but customers still need to be treated in a good way. At times... More

It is a typical loud and tasty Italian restaurant. be ready to shout and sing along with the pianist. Food is a good value too.

The food here is just simply great. I often come here for authentic Italian food and I really enjoy my trips here all the time. Their tiramisu is fantastic and it is to die for! The waiters are very friendly top and they make the environment very lively. Definitely recommend this place!

Ciao Bella is an Italian restaurant in Lambs Conduit Street, London. We tried making a reservation for an early dinner, though they said they had no space until much later. We went by it on the off chance they would be able to squeeze us in , and we struck lucky. Fun, noisy place to have dinner- it is always... More

It is very difficult to book, let alone go to eat at, Ciao Bella in trendy Lambs Conduit Street situated in the Bloomsbury area of London. It is a relatively cheap Italian restaurant, but it is always crowded and tends, quite rightly, to look after its regulars first. The restaurant is situated in the midst of hospital land, with the... We were renting a flat in the area and happened upon Ciao Bella. Although we did not have a reservation and they were busy, they made room for us. I had an "Italian style" Scottish salmon and my spouse had lasagna. Both were wonderful and the house wine was reasonably priced. Their menu is much more varied than you would... More

The place was packed. Even the outdoor 'terrace' was full. There is no doubting this is a popular place to go but although our food was tasty, it had been microwaved. My tagliatelle salmon and broccoli dish was warm and hot in places; my guest had a piping hot lasagne. Our 'dry' garlic bread was like toast, served in a... More

I've been eating in Ciao Bella for over 10 years now, usually popping in for a pizza. And pizza in Ciao Bella never lets down. I've tried tens of different pizzerias in London and still coming back to Ciao Bella. That pizza is just perfect, everything about it is right - the dough, compositions of toppings, freshness of ingredients. Staff... More

Such was the enjoyment we had on the first night, we went back for a second! The food is delicious and huge portions at very decent prices (especially coming from Australia) and we were greeted like old friends of one of the Italian workers there who even accepted our meagre attempts at ordering in Italian. Each table is given a... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
