Great authentic Italien food but bring your warm coat!

We were here 2 years ago and came back for the good food. The food lived up to its standards 2 years ago. I had a wonderful portion of spaghetti Vongolo just as delicious as served in Rome and Naples. You can order half portions of the pasta so our daughter enjoyed half a portion of spaghetti... read more

Just had a great meal at Ciao Bella, a group of 50 of us have just enjoyed the best service, food and good cheer with Felice and his great team of friendly waiters and waitresses. Food amazing, everything was piping hot, tasty and generous in portions. Could not have spent a more enjoyable meal with friends. I can highly recommend... More

My friends and I meet here for special lunches as it is just simply the best, most consistent place we have tried. We just love the atmosphere, the staff but most of all the food and wine. We had 3 courses with the pizza bread for a muse bouche. The food is really authentic Italian which is hard to find!... More

This is a great family restaurant 15 minutes from London's west end in Holborn. On the cheaper side than nearby Isolabella's and a real family favourite. Big chunks of Parmesan on the table when you arrive set the scene followed by fantastic homely cooking. Big portions and very reasonable prices bring people back time and time again. Given it position... More

Packed to the rafters but it's-a nice-a place ! Great sing-a-long piano player , lashings of pasta washed down with lots of plonk.

Ciao Bella offers a friendly setting to grab an Italian lunch or dinner, and it doesn't cost the earth! House wine is delicious, pastas are varied and taste super fresh, whilst the pizzas are also top notch. Recommend the Puttanesca (pasta obviously!), Pasta with clams and Vesuvio pizza.

Travelling on business, I passed the restaurant on the way to my hotel and its seemed quite busy which is always a good sign. I was dining on my own that evening so decided to give it a try instead of staying in the hotel. Plenty to watch as the busy staff ran around after the other diners and food... More

We visit ciao Bella yearly as our daughter Jessica has to go to great Ormond street hospital 🏥 for her yearly 3day check up. They always find us a table whatever the time. All the staff make a fuss of Jessica as we have now been going there for four years. Good food always. Great service and they always give... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
