So many good restaurants in London, this is one. Nice but not special or an experience. Attentive service, awkward toilets, decor like other leading restaurants. No reason to go, other than the reputation of the owner, after going, no reason to go.

An old friend and supplier invited me and both of us love Angela Ordering sole on the bone I was surprised when fish arrived of the bone that was clearly not sole. The self proclaimed restaurant Manager told me they had run out of sole . I had duck which was good . What was not good is when the... More

Judging by other reviews, we are out of step...................but we picked Murano as fans of Angela Hartnett and her Italian heritage, (something we share)................sadly, it just didn't come together on the night. We realise that Angela has other business interests and she can only be in one place at one time - but would suggest that NOW is the time... More

This was a first time visit and one often wonders what to expect at Michelin starred restaurants. Sometimes its all hipe, fancy food and small portions of strange food which is often not even very tasty. On entering the attention is second to none and one is immediately impressed by the spacious way tables are laid out and the very... More

Simply excellent. Fine dining in a hushed but friendly setting. Local produce and well thought out menu with lots of interest.

We ate there with three other couples on a business occasion. Very difficult to fault on any level the food, service and wine were all excellent. We ate from a number of dishes on the menu and none fell below a very high standard. The portions are pretty good and we were able to eat two courses plus dessert without... More

On our last night in London we wanted something special. Located near our hotel was this little gem. The food was outstanding ..... best described as "modern Italian". The menu choices covered a broad range of protein, quail, monkfish, halibut, pork (2 ways) and duck. Fresh morels and asparagus were featured in multiple dishes. The sommelier recommended a find French... More

Truly wonderful food, expertly prepared, delicious flavours come singing through every course.. The service is amazing and pitched just right by people who realise they are serving something special. The wine list is extensive with many fine wines

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
