Found this little tea shop close to hotel I was staying at. Lovely sandwiches, great value for money.

Great place to be able to have breakfast or a snack on the pavement rather than in the oppressive indoor Restaurants of the nearby big Hotels . Great cakes etc - just lacks any atmosphere or charm - could be a gem

Hubby and I were staying in a Hotel about 2 minute walk from The Muffin Man Tea Shop. We had breakfast there twice and both times had excellent service and food. The tea is served piping hot and the scones/clotted cream were to die for. The name of this restaurant somehow makes it seem less hip and one-of-a-kind than it... More

Laid back place to sit and watch the world go by...A very good cup of tea and nice light cakes to munch on!

Had a great breakfast one morning, bacon and eggs and then a burnt omelette the second day. Price was good and much cheaper than paying for breakfast at our hotel.

Just hidden off a road from Kensington High Street this is a lovely little cafe. Friendly staff, cheap prices and good quality! Nothing to complain about!

Found this first when we left the hotel for breakfast, should have carried on and gone to Wholefoods round the corner!

This place used to be run by a lovely English couple who cared about the food and hygiene standards. It has since been taken over by Eastern Europeans who completely neglect it. Scones are no longer baked in house and as I found out, are actually bought from supermarkets and sold to customers at a mark up. The Polish lady... More

Nice little tea shop in a nice area. Breakfast goods were nice but disappointed that the scones were not homemade in fact they were like the 'economy' brands in major supermarkets. From where I was sitting I could see the waitress put the scone and tea cake that I had under a grill. When they were ready she buttered them... More

The Muffin Man shop was a quaint little shop with good service and nice atmosphere. It was affordable and had a nice range of food. The staff were friendly and as a traveller that is nice to see.
