You cant miss this place as you walk past and if you are watching costs on your holiday - you cant go far wrong eating breakfast here. Its a very old fashioned tea shop - not like the faceless Starbucks experience we are all subjected to these days. Table cloths, waitresses and tea-pots with tea leaves! 3 of us had... More

We were staying at the nearby Kensington Close Hotel, which provides just bed or B&B. Having done this before we knew that the Muffin Man was but a few steps away and provides a nice breakfast. A wide selection of offerings is available, we had the scrambled eggs on ham, the only downer here is that even after asking for... More

Local to our hotel, so convenient for breakfast first thing! Plenty of choice - good quality food - we can a full English and porridge. Reasonably priced and quick service, would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area!

I was on a UK visiting trip and was recommended to come to the Muffin Man Tearoom for some afternoon tea, and dare I say I was really impressed with the food that was served! They had an array of food on the menu (sandwiches, muffins and so on), to which I was told that they also tasted excellent. Even... More

We stayed in the Copthorne hotel (just around the corner of the Muffin Man tea shop, and as most breakfast-in-a-hotel aren't that great, we shopped around and found this great alternative. The Muffin Man is a jolly good tea room, having a delicious range of breakfast ideas. From the ordinary English breakfast to many different sandwiches or pannini's. We tried... More

There aren't any big tables, but they'll push some together, or send you upstairs for bigger (we had 7) groups. The kids loved the food, the scones are tasty, and the tea and coffees are great. Friendly service. I also love the location that is near Kensington/High Street Tube stop, but far enough away to be not-so-busy all the time.... More

We had a light dinner (soap, quiche, cake) here and the food was very good. around 20 pounds for 2. Service was a little slow (it was near the 8:00 pm closing time). Probably a better place for lunch or tea. Not very big and getting a little old on the inside.

This seems to be a popular place with tourists and has some decent reviews, however I think it is rather overrated. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime. The place was very busy and the tables are closely packed together and the insides of the windows were steamed up. The decor is very 1950s and the whole place needs a make-over.... More

Fairly easy to find, not far from Kensington High Street. We enjoyed afternoon tea there, though they don't actually do a specific 'afternoon tea' as such. we just enjoyed the cakes so much, we had to have some more after the first round. Very good coffee and high quality tea. Well laid out inside,, so didn't feel crowded even when... More
