A more reasonably priced breakfast!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch here. My husband and I shared a plate of sandwiches followed by scones and tea. Very traditional English experience.

We were staying at a hotel round the corner and chose to have breakfast here. I had the ham and egg muffin with freshly squeezed orange juice and it was really nice and good value. Service was quick. Would definitely recommend anyone staying locally to get your breakfast here!

We visited the Muffin Man for breakfast as the hotel charged £15 head.We enjoyed a very good breakfast for half the price and lovely coffee. The service was very quick and attentive. It was very busy so well known for its good breakfast and some customers were even having scones and jam for breakfast. One to remember in Kensington.

Very nice breakfast spot located close to the Copthorne Tara and Kensington Close hotels. Only problem is that it is extremely crowded and there was a queue. Otherwise, no complaints with respect to food or service.

Used this place for breakfast while staying at a nearby hotel. Judging by the full tables it is clearly very popular. I had a lovely hearty breakfast with good choice of speciality teas. Friendly staff. Attractive I would go out of my way to go there again.

I frequent Muffin Man fairly regularly, it is a great little authentic tea shop in the heart of London. Time seems to stand still when you are there and you are able to relax from the hustle and bustle of High Street Kensington. I almost always order the Queen Mother cake, a delicious homemade date and walnut cake with chocolate... More

We were staying in local hotel on the Cromwell road and were told breakfast would be £17 extra. Rip off we thought so went in search of an alternative. The Muffin Man was just around the corner and looks nothing special but a warm welcome awaited and a traditional english breakfast for half the hotel price!! Would definitely use again.

I went there with a friend at tea time. It was almost empty but as soon as we eye in it really get full, all seats taken. We took the menu with tea+ scones/cake+ small sandwiches. All was self made and delicious. The cafe itself looks a bit used by still nice. The waitress was friendly. Can recommend it.

Great menu for snacks, home made cakes, nice china, waitresses incredibly polite and neat, such a nice change these days! We take breakfast there when staying in London, cheaper than hotel breakfasts!!!!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
