Lovely reasonably priced food

Really nice little restaurant with excellent service. Food is delicious. Loved the beef rending. If you are in the area and like Thai then go here.

Great hidden gem. Absolutely my favourite Thai restaurant in town. Small, family-run like place with delicious food, more than reasonable prices and quick service. Everyone I've taken there loved it too!

We had a really tasty meal here. Can recommend the ribs, satay and the squid all really delicious. We then had steak, duck in tamarind, pad thai and a chicken curry. All very exceptional. Food came rather quick but we were hungry so that was fine. Most of the staff were really friendly but 1 girl was glaring at customers... More

I was visiting friends in the area for dinner and Mudmee had been recommended. What a nice place, in a side street very near to Liverpool Street train station. The food was delicious and plenty of it and a vast choice of dishes. There were six of us in our party and we shared platters to start and then had... More

I was meeting a friend who was visiting for dinner and the place we intended to go was full, so we walked a little down the street and found Mudmee. We were hungry so went in and were sat down straight away on the last available table. The menu is pretty extensive and very reasonably priced. When the food came... More

This is a hidden gem. Having visited from out from our home in Thailand this is a delight to experience true Thai flavours. The menu is varied and the servings plentiful. The staff welcoming and the service excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Not suitable for a refined dinner, but brilliant value for lunch or good value thai evening meal. 2 starters, 2 main courses, noodle dish to share and a bottle of dry rose wine (recommended on the menu to compliment thai food). Good service, lovely food, wine went well with the food and was 1/2 the price you would expect to... More

If you are not fuss about service, this is a cheap and decent Thai to go to if and when you are in the City of London (financial district). Food is good, service is quick but rather chaotic and unresponsive during busy times.

The location of the restaurant is very nice, in a very nice alley. The place itself is quite authentic, and designed well. As to the food itself, it was nice, but just nice. There were not enough spices, you feel them at first but than the taste is quite neutral. The service was also not very kind, the waiter just... More

Great little find down the quaint streets tucked behind Spitalfields. Service was really prompt so definitely a great pick for a speedy lunch. Food was really good, much better than the identikit chains in the area and a lot of other Thai places I've tried. I had the coconut soup with was warming and really flavorful-perfect for a cold winter's... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
