As a part of our stay in London we had a have a pint in a traditional English pub. We came across this and we weren't disappointed. We had a Lager with with our hearty sausages and roast. The atmosphere was great and it looked the part inside and out. The staff were friendly and there were good facilities.

We took our last meal in London in at this place and were not disappointed. We went at lunch on a Monday, the service was prompt and friendly enough (we ordered from the bar) and the food was hot and fresh. I had the fish and chips and out of the two that I tried in London, this was the... More

been using this pub for a few years now as the meeting up place with friends, have a pint or two before heading off elsewhere. Yesterday was the second time in a row we have stayed all night. Friendly staff, great choice of beers and lager with a lovely atmosphere

This is a typical English pub. Enjoyed a good ale with banger a mash! Did find the decor interesting.

We popped in here for a swift couple of pints before going to dinner. A fairly decent pint of bitter and all reasonably priced. Nice to see bar staff who are happy to engage in conversation with the patrons. Felt like the good old days when ours were pubs! That's given my age away, but you get the idea.

I had passed by this pub/restaurant a week prior (on a Saturday) and it was packed inside and had many people outside also. We happened to be passing on a Sunday night, saw it was quiet and decided to pop in. We were attracted to the "Sherlock Holmes" name as great fans of the movies/tv series etc. featuring the character.... More
