£2.50 for a little pot of sour cream dip is a bit excessive and the southern fried chicken was a NO NO - but the pizzas are fab!!! Service is a bit hit and miss - the male waiters outshone the girls!! Girls need to improve on their technique and not throw down the plates and should only suggest a... More

We had a celebratory meal here on Saturday, St Katherine's Docks is a lovely water side location and the food was very good and such good value. Our waiter was fun and friendly, overall brilliant!

My husband and I have regularly gone to this pub for nights out and although it may be a bit pricey we still go simply because of the type of people who go there and the location. You can have a nice quiet drink sitting on a sofa without any boisterous youngsters bouncing in and overpowering the scene as you... More

Very surprised by some of the negative reviews on this site. I visited the dickens inn for the second time over the past weekend to enjoy the fantastic weather. Ate in the pizza restaurant and was seated on table on the balcony in the sunshine. It was exceptionally busy but we were served quickly and the staff could have been... More

very disappointed in this greatly advertised tourist restaurant at St. Katharine Dock. We were with a 'party' of 31 people on a previously booked, food ordered special occasion night out! Our waiter had no idea at all! The food we had previously ordered was mixed up and there was no care taken in serving our meals, a lot of shouting... More

we were on the verge of eating here today but very glad we decided against it. the waitresses seemed clueless and the supervisor in the restaurant was more interested in giving them a hard time right in front of us than servicing potential customers. to me this stinks of a disregard for training, poor management or both. take yourself a... Called in here for a lunch while travelling across London. Great value in perfect surroundings, it's hard to believe your in the center of one of the worlds busiest cities. Staff welcoming and helpful. Will certainly be visiting again.

We've been going to the Dickens Inn for about 15 years, and while the food can't compete with many other London venues, the setting and the building itself are worth a visit. The Dickens Inn is located in the centre of St Katherine's Dock, so it feels very peaceful for central London. Its lovely to sit on the balconies in... More

Ordered drinks not long before 10 pm on a Sunday evening. Overpriced for a start but of course happy to take my money. The bell was then rung at 10 and was then told this was last orders and had 20 minutes before they 'wanted our glasses'. So instead of a relaxing drink were were rushed and hassled to finish....
