Having worked in this area many years ago, it was good to see, amidst all the changes, that The Dickens Inn is still going strong and doesn't seem to have changed very much. We called in for a couple of drinks at lunchtime. There is a good selection of well-kept real ales and a good selection of gins. A pint... More

This is a popular place in the area but i doubt it attracts many regulars, its for tourists. The staff are busy and the service is poor and lop-sided. The wine and foor are ok but we just didnt feel welcome, all a bit uncomfortable really,

Great atmosphere! Very busy, shame the gardens are low down and you can't see anything but a wall! The dock is so lovely, it's a shame you can't sit and see the lovely scenery.

There are 3 different restaurants to choose from on different levels - we went to the first floor pizzeria. The food was absolutely delicious and very large! Bruschetta "for one" was two pieces and garlic bread "for one" was a little mini pizza-type situation that could easily have been for 4 or 6! Also, the pizza sizes - a medium... More

What a beautiful pub in a fantastic location beside a dock. The whole area is buzzing. The pub overlooks the dock and we got a table on the terrace overlooking everything. Looks stunning from outside. Very busy. It's not the cheapest. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. Think you're paying more for the experience than for the... More

Nice looking pub, in a great location right in the middle of St katherines dock with scope to sit outside. Two of the terraces were enclosed so could not view over the dock. Inside is a large bar area. I walked in around 12ish on a saturday and the bar was quite busy. It appeared that they were staffed accordingly.... More

On the recommendation of a friend, we visited the Dickens Inn for lunch in search of some really good fish and chips - and we were not disappointed. The location of the restaurant is about a 5-7 min walk from the Tower of London, easy to find and worth the walk. Pretty view from the upstairs pub. Great selection of... More

Lovely setting. Table outside overlooking the a dock. Staff friendly but food was poor quality and quite tasteless despite the price. Shame!
