We found this restaurant quite by accident. WoW, it was just perfect for our little family, good food, reasonably priced considering it's location. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

We came here for an evening meal and were generally pleased by the choice and quality of the food. It was very busy but we had booked a table. Service was quite slow and there were a couple of omissions from our order, which the waitress attributed to the business of the restaurant. We had a pleasant time!

This is a very clever place, where they serve a different cuisine on each floor. My friend and I visited here after going to see the poppies at The Tower of London. She already knew about it but I never would have found it! We are both vegetarians and I have to say, the choice wasn't overwhelming on either floor,... More

The building is wonderfully wooden, very quirky with oodles of character. A nice friendly security guy welcomed us in and we headed upstairs to one of the restaurants. We chose the pizzeria on the first floor, there is a grill and something else higher up if you prefer. We stood by the "Wait here to be seated" sign and watched... More

Booked a table for 30ish and this restaurant managed very well. We had to pre-select two courses but the braised beef suited everyone (we had a vegetarian option too) ad did treacle tart withy ginger ice cream. Food-wise not somewhere for a really special occasion bur this is a beautiful building in a beautiful location and everyone enjoyed their visit.

I have visited the pizzeria a couple of times in the past couple of weeks, taking different relatives up to see the poppies. We chatted with the manager the first time on a family day out at half term. He said that customers had increased massively and was having difficulty getting enough staff! We didn't see any evidence of that.... More

We have used this restaurant many times over the years and our latest visit did not disappoint. Pizza and lasgne good. Not too expensive for London although IU feel the compulsory 12.5% service charge excessive. Attentive (possibly slightly over attentive) staff. great location

Visited the Dickens Inn after an emotional viewing of the Poppies around the Tower (I am sure similar to many others) - the attitude of the staff behind the bar was appalling - the 'Supervisor' strolled around as if he was doing us a favour being there, and the 'Trainee' couldn't look anyone in the eye. Eventually got served, although... More

Spoilt for choice in St. Katherine Docks for restaurants thought I would try this busy pub and restaurant. Choice of eating in the Pizzeria or The Grill so chose the The Grill on this occasion and was not disappointed.Had a perfectly cooked beef burger which came with a side sale and fries at the reasonable price of £12.95 however thought...
