Great environment!

I went here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and it was a great place for a relaxing lunch with rugby fans. The nachos were delicious and the atmosphere was definitely what we were looking for.

Dickens Inn is a great good-weather hangout but can be very busy with both local office workers and hordes of tourists. Great location makes up for it. The pizzeria on the first floor is a fun casual place with good pizza. I recommend you ask for it well-done or it may come fairly gooey in the middle. The small is... More

Ideal location near the river for a very pleasant evening with the city all around and able to walk to so many evening entertainment areas that go on well into the night, getting taxis from this area is not a problem and the boats/yachts in the marina are a sight for sore eyes, a very pleasant veining

The pub looks nice on the outside, but is pretty average on the inside. It's a bit like one of the the nicer Wetherspoons. We came in for some lunch. I shared a veggie burger with a friend. The food was typical pub food which was nice enough, and they were thoughtful enough to split our dish onto two plates,... More

Visited this morning for brunch as our first choice of cafe only had coffee and cakes available! We should have looked further, the Dickens Inn had a brunch menu and we had been told good things about it! Being the first customers of the day at 10.45, the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but all seemed ok. The Full English... More

It really is a nice old pub!! We love it here and go whenever we're in London!! It has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and have a drink, it's in a great location too.

Visited the Grill on a January Saturday Lunchtime as a party of 6 . We were greated by a surly waitress. The menu looked promising on the website BUT on arrival we were not informed that there were no Roast Meals on the day only being told when we ordered them. I had the Hunters Chicken which was served in... More

Great atmosphere, fab outlook, low ceilings, lots of timber and by Aussie standards, expensive beer & wine....but then this is London after all. After doing the Tower and the Bridge why not try some olde English pub stuff. GOOD VIBE , motley crew, be assertive at the bar, reticence means you'll be thirsty. The cheese board is pretty reasonable but... More
