Disappointing

I have been a Champion of the Dickens as a Pub and have had some Criticism against it. I booked for a table in the restaurant. I was very disappointed, the food was over priced and quirky in flavours. I had a Chicken Tika Pizza and it was smothered in a Garlic and cucumber cream which was very... read more

We enjoyed a lunch of Fish & Chips after our morning at Tower of London. We had the restaurant to ourselves for the first bit of time after we arrived at noon. Friendly service, our food came quickly and was delicious. Would visit again.

Good atmospere and a good size pub, drinks quite expensive but probably due to the area. Had to send the wine back as not very nice.

Unfortunately this place provided me with one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The teamleader was our server and twice she ignored us trying to place an order for more drinks. When she finally showed up and we had gotten tired of waiting and said we've changed our minds she appeared offended and abruptly turn and walked away.... More

Well situated and spacious with a traditional pub atmosphere. That said it is adequate and I suppose reasonably priced for central London, beer £3.80 and bangers £11 ish. The staff are efficient but not friendly. It serves its purpose when sightseeing.

We visited the Dickens Inn on a day trip to London. It is quite handy to visit from the Tower of London, although it takes between 5 and 10 minutes to get there. There was a good range of foodon the menu, which was reasonably for London. There is a good atmosphere in the pub. Staff were quite friendly and... More

This bar is in a great location and good for meeting friends before eating out etc. It was buzzing with after work people out chilling with friends. In the Summer you can sit outside and take in the wonderful views of St Katharine's Dock

Popped in here just for a drink whilst up in London. An old favourite as my husband use to take me here when we started going out with each other over 30 years ago. It has been renovated since then, not sure how long ago. The drinks were a little bit pricier (£12.50 for a large glass of wine and... More

After looking at all the restaurants available in the St Catherine's dock area - my wife decided that the dickens inn got her nod of approval as she fancied a steak!! (Top floor grill!) - I am so glad she chose this restaurant ! Seated straight away - shared carembourt starter (to die for!) followed by an 8oz rib eye... More
