From start to finish the experience of having afternoon tea at Claridges was superb. I was lucky to be given a voucher as a gift, the voucher arrived, top class envelopes and stationery, really important if this is a present for someone special. Booking was not straight forward but I am skipping over the that because the experience was fabulous.... More

Just like the Ritz, Claridge's delivers when it comes to afernoon tea in London. The atmosphere exudes class and is a great place for people watching. The staff has a great knowledge of the teas, cakes and crumpets that they serve. I can highly recommend spending an afternoon at Clardige's for something that has to be experienced at least once... This is a fabulous place for afternoon tea! You. step in from bustling Central london into a calm oasis. Everything is so tasteful. The service is attentive without smothering you. We started with sandwiches, all utterly delicious, so much so we had another plate. The scones divine and the macro polo jelly amazing! Cakes are to die for and the... More

My friend and I returned to Claridges for afternoon tea for my birthday, having been last November. We did not think they could top themselves and were pleasantly surprised that it was even better! We arrived just after our reservation time of 3:30pm and were seated straight away, in the little area adjacent to the main foyer. We sat in... More

Ate breakfast here twice during our stay, both times it was amazing. First day I had the Eggs Royale and my husband had an omelette. 2nd day I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, my husband had the full cooked breakfast. On each day we had a fantastic choice of tea and coffee, delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, a beautiful... More

Mums 70th birthday lunch... Could not have been better. Attention to detail, fuss but not too much. Beautiful lunch....the food was lovely. We went for the £35 a head plat du jour which was excellent value. The deserts were fab, and the birthday plate with candle a nice treat also. Thank you.

Four of us had tea on Sunday the 6th July. First I must say having been many times before and had first class service and food, this time the sandwiches were just about ok. Very plain and bland and it seems no thought had been given to the fillings. No better than M & S, in fact M & S... More

Dear ‘Trevor F’ Thank you for your review regarding your Afternoon Tea experience at Claridge’s. I am delighted to read that you have visited us on several occasions and enjoyed ‘first class service and food’, however I am concerned that on this occasion we fell short of meeting your expectations. From the attentive staff to the decor, everything was perfect. I was astounded at the amount of different teas there are! You can have unlimited sandwiches. I asked the lady... More

Celebrating my wife’s birthday my son and girlfriend treated us to Sunday lunch at Claridge’s in the Foyer, I am writing this mainly to praise the staff, as people who are not used to frequenting such establishments they made us very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience in a relaxed atmosphere in a very English sort of way, not...
