Perfect for pre-show meals, Rodizio Rico restaurant at Londons O2 Arena in Greenwich is a bright and buzzy Brazilian churrascaria restaurant famous for its Brazilian steakhouse menu. With modern wood-panelled walls, tiled floors and a humming brasserie-style ambience, Rodizio Rico is a hit with meat-loving locals for non-vegetarian corporate entertaining and cocktails, large parties and family nights out. The menu of Brazilian cuisine offers an all-you-can-eat selection of steaks and seafood alongside a buffet-style salad bar. Favourite dishes include the garlic sausages, rump steak, spare ribs and the grilled chicken and pork served at the table on giant sticky skewers. The wine list veers toward big, butch flavours from Chile and Argentina, with some intriguing labels from South Africa, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. At Rodizio Rico, no craving is too large. Attending O2 for Fleetwood Mac we hadn't booked and all the other restaurants had a queue. Self service salad + some mains are lacklustre; rotisserie meats are brought round by waiters and served at the table. Plenty of chicken and sausages, some lamb, not a lot of beef though that was OK if meagre. Meal for two plus 2 pints... More

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times before and always enjoyed it in the past but it was very disappointing on this occasion. Normally the meats are all brought round on rotisserie sticks and carved at the table. Last night over half the meats were brought to the table on normal dinner plates and chunks rather than... Using Google maps to get here was a bit of an issue as it kept directing us to a nearby building and once we'd given up, we wandered around the inside of the O2 building to find somewhere else to eat and lo and behold, discovered where we had been looking for all along. There are two choices, Meat BBQ... More

Visited this restaurant on Saturday. Its great - especially for big meat eaters! We had early slot - 3.30 (its £19 per head as opposed to £25!). The choice was great - lamb, pork, ribs, numerous cuts of beef, sausages and chicken (including chicken hearts!). Salad selection is to die for. Kids loved it - especially my carnivorous daughter -... More

£25 a head (weekday evening) 'All you can eat meat' They bring the meat around (each meat separately) every few minutes. You have a bar matt that is green on one side (I.e. More meat please) and red on the other side (I.e. No meat thanks). If you have green they offer you the type of meat they are serving.... More

A bit expensive at £25 per person, but nice for a change. Loads of meat brought frequently to the tables. Just turn your card to red for a break and turn it back once ready to go again. Enjoyed the beef the most.

The waitress made a mistake, couldn't understand our explanation - not because of her English skills, but rather because she was angry and didn't listen. Plus she was extremely rude. The mistakes was fixed after 30 minutes. The restaraunt was empty, still a large group of friends wasn't billed separately. Not only we had to write down for her who... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
