Description: Perfect for pre-show meals, Rodizio Rico restaurant at Londons O2 Arena...
Perfect for pre-show meals, Rodizio Rico restaurant at Londons O2 Arena in Greenwich is a bright and buzzy Brazilian churrascaria restaurant famous for its Brazilian steakhouse menu. With modern wood-panelled walls, tiled floors and a humming brasserie-style ambience, Rodizio Rico is a hit with meat-loving locals for non-vegetarian corporate entertaining and cocktails, large parties and family nights out. The menu of Brazilian cuisine offers an all-you-can-eat selection of steaks and seafood alongside a buffet-style salad bar. Favourite dishes include the garlic sausages, rump steak, spare ribs and the grilled chicken and pork served at the table on giant sticky skewers. The wine list veers toward big, butch flavours from Chile and Argentina, with some intriguing labels from South Africa, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. At Rodizio Rico, no craving is too large. Not for the faint-hearted, Rodizio Rico requires a hearty appetite and a drumstick-loving disposition.

Slightly disappointed

I was really looking forward to eating here after my friend had spoken about it but after being there 20 minutes, I thought I might have got the wrong place. You walk into the bar area with a large spiral staircase which looks lovely but where you actually eat is behind that and has a bit of a... read more

Excellent service, fantastic food. One omnivore, one vegetarian. Lots of choice for both, very high quality. Definitely recommend.

Basically the under cooked over priced food made me realise I was sitting in a nothing more than a high street kebab shop. In fact a mixed grill with chips from the local would of saved me over £15. A quick rundown £3 for a can of drink poured in a glass £4.20 for a bottle of water £25 for... More

We chose this place to eat before a concert. We are both confirmed carnivores and we wanted something different to just your usual fare. I liked the look of this restaurant as it is spacious, over two floors and not noisy. There is a set price meal where you eat as much meat as you want for £25 a head.... More

The staff were very welcoming and explained the stop / go system. I would really recommend this venue if you are a big meat eater or have a strong appetite, there was plenty of choice, pork, gammon, lamb, beef, sausages, chicken and chicken hearts. There were lots of fresh salads and for those who like comfort food Lasagne and beef... More

Although possibly a little on the expensive side, unless you are a total carnivore, this is a fun place to eat. The salad and assorted hot starter bar offers a fabulous choice of dishes - enough for a meal in itself so be sure and leave room for the meat courses. The skewers of meat (assorted cuts of beef, lamb,... More

Rodizio Rico is an all-you-can-eat chain with a buffet of hot and cold selections, but the highlight is the BBQ. Meat is brought on skewers straight from the grill to your table, served hot and fresh, and you just choose to eat whichever types you want (selection includes beef rump, lamb shoulder, chicken and pork sausages, pork loin, chicken legs... Am gutted we spent £25 each on the bbq meat menu. Place was very quiet. You have a coaster with Go and Stop. If you want a break from them offering you more meat, you turn the coaster over to Stop so you were left in peace. This was not the case and the waiters got very annoying as they... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
