Great Place for Breakfast

We stayed at hotel for 4 nights near Trafalgar Square and there weren't too many places around for breakfast. We tried Garfunkel's the first morning and I was hooked on the breakfast bap!! I had one every morning and it was delicious! The service is excellent and the staff very friendly.

Went to this restaurant for breakfast. 3 out of 6 of us actually ate. How do you forget an order and mix up two others. Will not go back or recommend it.

I visited this restaurant and Renato served us. He was very polite and took care of all our needs throughout our meal. Great food with superb service!!!!! Well done Garfunkel’s. It’s very hard to find a place with all this qualities in Central London. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re sightseeing in this area.

I visited Garfunkel's in April 2015, and it was a great experience. The food was good, and came very quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Renato was our waiter, and he delivered great service.

Close to the Grand Hotel Trafalgar Square and much cheaper than breakfast at the hotel itself. Good selection of breakfast items, one of our party asked for green tea which they didn't have, but they must have acquired some as they came back later to say that they had received some now, which I thought was very good of them... They recently changed their menu and may I say how impressed I was, however not sure about the new coleslaw. The staff made us and our kids feel welcome from the moment we walked in, it was also nice to sit by the window and watch the world go by thank you Jonathan

We were made fairly welcome at this pleasantly situated restaurant and service was quite good overall. The starter, prawn cocktail, was adequate but the cottage pie for my main was nearly all gravy and little meat and the potato covering was overcooked. Not a disaster but, with so much competition in the area, this restaurant would do well to up... More

We had something to eat here as we going on the bus ghost tour that night. The coke which my sister in law had seemed to be very watery and not much coke think there was too much ice in the coke. We all had a nice meal and desserts.

Visited for some breakfast before heading in to work while in London on business. Opened 10 minutes later than stated, and had myself and three others waitinf outside. When seated we were given a few mins to review the menu and then order, to which we were asked "ok then?" in a bit of a 'I can't be bothered with... More

Visited here today with my husband and uncle. We were taking a day trip to the National Gallery and Garfunkel's is the ideal place to have a re-charging food stop. For central London the prices are amazing! We went for the set menu which was priced at £9.99 for two courses. We chose to have a main course & dessert.... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
