every time we visit London we always go to a garfunkels, the food and service are great, we were served by Franceses, very polite, friendly, and overall a good waiter, the food is always fresh and hot, a little bit over priced, but you are in London.

Ate here for a quick dinner. The food was alright. Came out to our table in less than 10 mins. I probably wouldn't eat here again.

The food is well prepared and the service pleasant. Prices are correct for a city like London. It's very pleasant to be able to sit outside and watch people go by, great view on the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square!

Visited this place by chance when we were walking around. We tried fish and chips and it was excellent. Very tasty and served in an unusual way. Portion was big enough for a big man so children and women may want to share )) Good and quick service. Prices are not high.

7 August 2015. Ordered Eggs Benedict with ham for breakfast and was disappointed. The 2 eggs were served on two half slices of toast. The toast became soggy. The ham was far too thick. The eggs should have been served on an English muffin. One egg per half with the ham shaved. The service was good and my bill had... More

Visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast We were seated promptly and our order was taken efficiently. After almost half an hours' wait our food was served. My partner's full english arrived with a poached egg which was so well done, it was more like a golf ball while, interestingly, his grilled tomato had barely been cut in half and... More

My wife and I ate here three different times during the 2 1/2 days we were in London. We tried it because it was close to our hotel right near Trafalgar Square. The food was excellent, it was served quickly and it was served hot. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful when asked to provide more info... More

We stayed in a nearby hotel where breakfast was nearly £20 each in the hotel so each morning we eat out. We had a breakfast here a few times, not bad at all for the money. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Overpriced and poor quality. Chicken wings were burnt, spaghetti clearly warmed in a microwave and was tasteless. The only saving grace was the staff, friendly and efficient. Typical tourist trap restaurant. Avoid

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
