If you're a fan of afternoon tea then you simply must visit The Dorchester as it's a wonderful experience. The quality is first class and there is a nice selection of sandwiches to choose from. The bread is all baked in-house and if you have the room you are offered a second helping of sandwiches. The sandwiches, scones and cakes... More

Booked Afternoon tea for two. Selection of teas were superb. Not being a massive tea lover I mentioned after the 3rd cup that I couldn't drink anymore, so the waiter offered me coffee instead which I thought was a nice touch. The sandwiches and cakes were ok. Not bad but not as good as I thought they would be. Was... More

I had a non-alcoholic cocktail, called, Berry Lover with wild berries and exquisite taste. The ambience of this place is great but it was rather full of noisy middle eastern tourists when we went there. However, the service and the courtesy of the staff members would be par excellence. I would love to go back in the daytime for having... More

Today my wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea at The Dorchester. The ambiance was wonderful, lovely venue with amazing floral displays and a first class pianist playing while we ate. Champagne, tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes did not disappoint and in plentiful amounts. Staff and service was the best I have known. A real treat and... More

Went for afternoon tea and is much better than the Ritz. The service is exceptional, food quality extremely high and surroundings excellent. I can not fault my experience in anyway and would happily recommend to everyone.

I visited the dorchester with my boyfriend as birthday treat. First impressions were very good the staff are very friendly and polite. However due to the promenade being fully booked we were led to the balcony, here you sit on a table over looking the hotel lobby, there was no ambience here, no music playing and I felt like I... This is a wonderful venue - the Promenade is beyond the reception area. The area is almost like an extended lobby but still very nicely decorated and the flower displays are simply stunning.
