Breakfast with Family After our Wedding Day

Great atmosphere, and breakfast options were wonderful. We had two elderly people with us, a little difficult to navigate and set them comfortably but they still had a wonderful time, as did the rest of us. We've been here for tea as well and the quality never falls below standard

Myself and my best friend were treated to afternoon tea at The Dorchester. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after by the very attentive staff. Sandwiches arrived first which were lovely, plenty of second helpings too!! Then the cake stand and delicious warm scones and homemade preserves. Everything was very tasty, even had... More

This is how afternoon tea should be! World class service, great Champagne and wondeful sandwiches! The staff treated us like we were royalties, and we had a great afternoon.

This is a good room well decorated but looks better than it actually is. The afternoon tea was adequate but on the expensive side. Expensive parking

I invited two friends for Afternoon Tea at the Dorchester. It was superb from beginning to end. When you walk through the foyer of the hotel they have the most beautiful floral displays. We were immediately shown to our comfortable table and the waiter came and introduced himself. The food was delicious - excellent choice of sandwiches, followed by scones... More

I was lucky enough to be treated to Afternoon Tea with my Mum and Dad here to celebrate my 21st birthday. From start to finish the experience was incredible. We arrived at The Dorchester ahead of time, having been told to arrive early, and informed that our table would only be kept for 10 minutes if we were late. So there's some irony that we were kept waiting for 10 minutes past our scheduled start time, when inquiring as to where our table was the front of house retorted... More

After a busy day shopping in December, tea at the Dorchester was a completely relaxing experience. The Christmas décor was superb and set the scene together with the pianist playing gently in the background to add to the seasonal atmosphere. The seating is very comfortable, well spaced, waiters were friendly and the silver service superb. I particularly enjoyed selecting from... More

Afternoon Tea at the Promenade at the Dorchester is a true feast! The champagne tea (£55) began with a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne and then mouthwatering finger sandwiches: smoked salmon, chicken and pesto, egg, cheese and cucumber on a mix of white and granary breads. (Two helpings were offered) This was followed by a palate cleanser of pineapple pannacotta,... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
