Already been several times to The Promenade for the Afternoon Tea and have always enjoyed it very much. It is by far the best Afternoon Tea we have tried in London. The Champagne Afternoon Tea is great and on special occasions such as birthdays they even serve a small cake with "Happy birthday" written on it and 2 small candles.... More

Afternoon Tea at the Dorchester is fabulous. A gorgeous space, the Promenade serves arguably the best High Tea (from my experience) in London. The champagne afternoon tea is simply wonderful. Sandwiches, scones and all those delightfully decadent treats accompanied with some of the finest teas in the world. Then all washed down with some champagne!!! Bliss. Book in advance as... More

I booked this at the last minute as I wanted to surprise my daughter who was about to celebrate her 18th birthday. As you walk into The Dorchester you are met with the most amazing flower arrangements which smelt heavenly. Our table was being prepared but we were shown where the Ladies were which was a necessity! We opted for... More

this is one of my favourite haunts late at night, as they serve some fast but delicious food. The beef and cheese burgers with the thinly cut chips is my favourite dish but all dishes are really great.

I booked for a Traditional Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester after sifting through many online reviews to find which one in Central London would be best. I was booking this for my mum's Birthday. I have been to many high teas in many places around the world and I wouldn't say this was one of the best. The hotel decor and furniture was very beautiful and traditionally English however the staff were a little rude and we waited for a lengthy time to be even be acknowledged?? The food was remarkably plain and tasteless... More
