Great place for homesick Canadians and folks who are trying to get a glimpse of what Canadian cliches are all about --- if you're in the middle of London. The poutine is not all that good considering it costed 4 quids. However, guess it's the curd cheese that makes all the difference. I've been here a couple times when I... More

The Maple Leaf - you're hoping for a 'home away from home' and the flag outside certainly gets your hopes up. Inside however is a different story. Sure, they took the effort to get a real (stuffed!) bear in there, but bar some Canadian flag bunting the look and feel is somewhat lacking. This adds up to a serious lack... More

London can get incredibly stuffy and for a lot of people and when you want a good blow out with a crowd of like minded people there is no better place to go than The Maple Leaf. The beer is excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. The staff are relaxed and friendly. The food is great if you want something easy,... More

My boyfriend and I recently visited The Maple Leaf for a drink and something to eat after having spotted it on a night out near Covent Garden. My boyfriend was excited to try a range of Canadian beers and to sample some items from their menu. The bar itself is well-decorated with a warm and cosy feel, despite being quite... More

Not a bad spot to drop in for a decent beer and catch some hockey (especially Stanley Cup!). Decent crowd when I popped in for lunch too. Food is just so-so. Poutine was done with mozzarella cheese, which can't call itself poutine at all. Wings were just OK. If you're going for the sports bar & beer - it'll be... More
