Great piece of Canada in Covent Garden

A great bar serving Sleemans on draught and Canadian & Moosehead in bottles along with the regulars. Food is good and a great place to catch a hockey game, staff friendly and a pleasant atmosphere. One to return to for sure!!

Stopped here on Sunday 22nd February 2015. It was raining and cold outside but the staff were friendly, it was warm and the food was good. Football was on which my other half usually doesn't like but it was ok, not too rowdy. Been here before but a long time ago with some Canadian friends. Decor is Ice hockey shirts,... More

Went for drinks with a few friend from work. Great selection of beers and cheap enough for the location. Also great place to watch sport would very easily recommend to friends

We stopped of for a meal and to watch live football on the large screens. The restaurant/bar area was really in need of a good clean, the food was mediocre and the canadian bottled beer was ok but overpriced. The only saving grace is that they show live football... Will avoid in future!

The Maple Leaf - a bar in the heart of London where visiting Canadians can get Canadian beer and watch hockey games on TV. Canadian Flag banners as decor, they also sold the Canadian poppies before Remembrance Day - which are more durable than the British paper ones. The atmosphere is noisy, tables not the cleanest, but great for a... More

My girlfriend & I recently visited London & we had heard of a Canadian bar in Covent Garden & were very curious to see what it was like as we had visited Canada earlier in the year. My girlfriend was raised in Canada so she is somewhat an expert when it comes to all things Canadian but unfortunately when we... More

At the request from some friends living in Ontario, we stopped in at the Maple Leaf, a Canadian sports bar located in Covent Garden. While the service was friendly, and my beer was cold, the placed lacked any appreciable ambiance. It was fairly loud, even with just a few people in it. I doubt we would return to this bar;... More

The Maple leaf is a great bar but at the weekends it get extremely busy, the way that the room is designed with far too many chairs making it difficult to move around the bar. Staff are friendly and the beer is good. They also show a lot of sports and had a great atmosphere during the work cup.

Went to watch the football whilst visiting London. Drinks prices were expensive, food was okay- the steak sandwich was better than I thought it would be. The place was very busy so there were under stable waiting at the bar.

We visited the Mapleleaf on an evening out. The atmosphere was really lively, the beer "moose head" is quite good. This service was not very friendly. We ordered food and the food was not good, I had a hamburger and it was literally a cheap patty with a very limited amount of lettuce on a bun with a slice of... More
