De La Panza does a great Mon-Wed deal of empanada, steak and fries and a wine for £13.95 which is an absolute bargain for the quality of the steak. It's a generous portion of a lovely lean, but juicy piece of meat that comes with a side serving of their own special chimchurri type sauce which works on the steak,... More

Atmosphere - The owner is an opera singer. There is a piano next to then bar. I was told there are live songs once in a while. Food - Excellent meat, in large quantity. We didn't have to wait long. Service - Very friendly? Location - About 10 minutes by taxi from Angel subway station. There are several other restaurants... More

Meat is good but sides are not amazing at all (salad was low quality). Starters were ok but I was a bit disappointed with the empanadas. You go to this restaurant if you want a good piece of meat and this is it.

Excellent steaks - friendly service and all of a sudden the host starts on an Italian Verdi opera song - quite a treat and well worth a visit!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a warm welcome and great food. We had the chicken & mushroom empanadas, some sirloin steak and cannelloni. The food was delicious, especially amazing steak combined with some great Malbec. I'd definitely recommend, the general manager (Fernando - great voice!) made us feel like at home.

Really good starter, steak and wine deal for 14.95 PP which is really good value for the size of the steak and sides - really filling, very friendly service, nice outside area and a family-run feel to the interior. House sauce for the steak was also great. Will definitely be back!

We found this restaurant by accident after initially going to walk past it to go to the pub, but have fallen for it instantly and will be going back very shortly. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly and open, yet intimate. We got chatting with who I assumed was the owner, and he was recommending the wines to have with our... More

Second time we have been and it's awesome. It's not up there with the big London steakhouses but it's very good and pretty decent price for what you get. We both had a fillet steak with serving of chips and bottle of wine for under £70. Also was cooked to exactly how we wanted it. It's simple and great atmosphere,... More

We live just around the corner and popped in just to try somewhere new on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Have to say we really loved it. The food is full, tasty and whilst predominantly meat based also has good options for vegetarians. The menu isn't too fussy and the robust wine list is South American flavoured with a heavy hint... Despite being a little lacklustre shortly after first opening (both in terms of food and service), teething troubles seem to now have been resolved and De La Panza is a very welcome addition to the local De Beauvoir restaurant scene. Probably now just as good as Buen Ayre. Particularly enjoyable are the opera nights!
