This is an amazing restaurant with magnificent food - highly recommend the eggs benedict. Relaxed atmosphere and great service. Although expensive, is well worth it.

A treat for my partner for Christmas. It was his present , although we were travelling in New Zealand at that time. A wonderful choice from start to finish, attention to detail and service amazing. May just have to go back!!

Had dinner last evening for anniversary treat. Took the set menu deal with wine included. have visited other restaurants on this type of deal and usually you are made to feel rather inferior. However here the service and food were superb. I even given a glass of red wine on the house by the maitre de as my wife was... More

We went to The Roux for our wedding anniversary this year, after having done so 2 or 3 years previously for the same occasion. We've also been a couple other times (not special occasions) previously, but have not visited at all in the last couple of years. While the ambience and decor was as nice this time as it has... We dined at this restaurant and took advantage of the offer of 3 courses+ wine + petit four and tea/coffee at £45.00 + service. This is a truly great deal. The set menu, whilst not extensive offers enough variety to make selecting each course a difficult decision. The inclusive wines are of very good quality and the food is absolutely... More

Roux at the Landau has either its own entrance on Regent Street or directly from the lobby of the Langham Hotel. We were impressed with the front of house staff and the ambience of the large high ceilinged dining room. We ate from the lunch menu at £45 for three courses, half a bottle of wine each, mineral water, coffee... More

Myself and my husband chose this restaurant to try the de jour menu (3 courses and a half bottle of wine) for £45.00. It was lovely. The staff were friendly, polite and we were not rushed like I have found in other restaurants of this nature. It was very a very relaxing experience and we will go back.

Had the very great pleasure of visiting Roux at the Landau last week for my father's birthday celebration. I was half an hour early for the reservation, and the very charming hostess made me comfortable in the Artesian bar, after having checked whether the visit was in honour of a celebration. When I told her that it was a surprise... More

I came here with my parents and we were given a little booth to sit in (which I prefer), so you can still eat and people watch without being too exposed. I chose the prawns and then the pork loin. I found them both truly excellent, they werent overly messed around with, but each element was put together very well.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
