My favorite

Been three times in the last 3 years. Great food and equally good service. A la carte is good but the pre-theater fix menu is even better. What a bargain in London! Book it and be there by 6:30 and no one asks you to leave at a certain time. Good portions and excellent choices without any... read more

One of the best places I have eaten in a long time. Classic food and service to a tee. Lovely prix fixe menu for lunch including wine. Must visit!

What a fantastic evening celebrating my partners birthday. We opted for the set menu of 3 courses and half a bottle of wine for £45 per person and everything was so delicious and tasty. Quite a good selection of things to choose from too. Staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend.

We regularly take advantage of the great lunch offer at Le Gavroche. This deal is £9 more expensive that The Landau, but you get free water (at The Landau it is £5) and more petits fours (just one at The Landau). The dining room and bar at Le Gavroche have more atmosphere - but it is SO difficult to get... More

Visited this restaurant back in April as a surprise for my birthday. Upon arriving i was optimistic the decor and ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. We were show quickly to our table, which itself was lovely with a brilliant view of the decor of the room. After much deliberation me and my partner opted for the set tasting menu... More

Had breakfast here when staying overnight. The most tastiest full English breakfast and an interesting display of continental goodies including beetroot salmon and eel. Read my full review on my site.

My wife and I ate here for our wedding anniversary. Took the menu du Jour, the quality of food is just what you expect, perfection, the dining room is beautiful (formal) and the service just right. It is the value for money that is staggering, 3-courses, plus various amuse bouches, including half a bottle of wine, coffee and petits fours... More

Myself and a friend come here for lunch and had the Menu du Jour, and it was great. The pea soup I had to start was brilliant, although a simple dish on the face of it the execution was perfect, and the second course of guinea fowl was sublime! i cannot fault the dish at all. To finish i had... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
