My husband had booked this as a surprise birthday treat for myself. Absolutely amazing décor and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. We were lucky to have a mini booth to ourselves still in the main dining area and never felt rushed to finish our food or wine. Absolutely fantastic food, beautifully presented and tasted amazing!... Good meal with amazing staff. I felt the meal and price were on different levels. Yes the food was great and tasty but i felt it was pricey for what we ate. I would recommend the set menu.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. We found the food to be exquisite. Every dish on the chefs menu was perfect, mouth watering and beautifully presented. It absolutely exceeded expectations and i would highly recommend. It was very expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. Amazing!

I expect better in this restaurant than average fine dining. Having chosen the restaurant on its reputation I was sad it didn't live up to my expectations on quality of food or service. I will not be returning.

Took a very dear friend to Roux at the Landau for an early dinner on a Thursday. I had booked as part of their current offer of a 3 course dinner from a set menu and 2 glasses of selected wine for £45 per person. The restaurant had a wonderful ambient temperature and was clean and traditional. The menu was... More

Ok, daughter on school trip entertaining Italians with vocals and violin: check. Posh restaurant booked: check. Superb food and service: check. The food is superb as you'd expect from Michael Roux, some of the lovelier twists included the minute amount of basil with strawberries (no, it works) and the waiter arriving with a 'rice krispie cake' - I promise you... Splurged for the chefs menu (reasonable at £6 a head without wine) however we would have gone for the toptable/open table £35 for three courses and a glass of champagne had it not been our anniversary. Delicious food, though the reason it does haven't a Michelin star is perhaps some of the dishes don't push the boundaries just enough. However... More

I have been lucky enough to dine at many top places in the city, and Roux at the Landau is definitely at the very top. We booked on an Open Table offer and the value was tremendous - 3 courses and champagne for 36.50/person. Food was seasonal and inventive, service excellent and the setting very special. This is a place... More

It was my husband's birthday so wanted to go somewhere special. The Landau was superb. Service, food and total experience couldn't be faulted. They even took note from my booking that it was a birthday celebration so brought out an unexpected sweet treat. Would definitely return
