We had the set lunch which was three courses, half a bottle of wine, coffee and petit fours for a stunning £35! The restaurant is lovely and the service was excellent. We ordered a bottle of house champagne which I think is as good as any prestige brand. We also ordered a cheese course as an extra which was sublime.... More

My wife and I took my parents here for their 40th anniversary. It was a wonderful meal (lunch) and every bit as special as one would hope for. The food is first class as you'd expect and deserves far more verbose praise than this. The smart yet understated ambience is perfectly balanced. The lunchtime set menu is very good value... More

A generous Christmas present, lunch with fine wines for each course, from DD who joined us.The room, the service, each wine was introduced by a superb Frenchman, the quality of food was beyond reproach. A thoroughly enjoyable three hours with world class food and drink.Yet I ,the other two do not agree, because of my upbringing began to feel uneasy about the cost . I... More

Put it this way... my darling eating companion reported that the scallop starter was the best scallops she'd had. But then her main, veggie, course, was bland and uninspiring. My venison was tasty and nicely dressed, but didn't have that extra something one expects from a Roux restaurant. But when the table staff saw the not-much-eaten remains of said veggie... More

Dined here for my fiances birthday and the food and service was exceptional! The customer service is nothing I have ever experienced before, always making sure our drink was never empty and the food was well above what I have ever tasted before! They even brought out a free desert saying happy birthday for my partner :) we will definitely... More

I booked The Roux at the Landau as a birthday lunch. Totally faultless experience. The waiters were all extremely attentive and knowledgable, special mention to Franco, Luigi and Enrico who were delightful when we engaged in conversation with them. The room was splendid, a lovely atmosphere, even tho the restaurant wax full on the Friday lunch time. I had pre booked... More

Is this London's best kept secret? Impeccable service, amazing food in an intimate setting.....what's not to like? We had a 3 course lunch with a glass of bubbly and a bottle of wine. Every course was delicious and servings sufficiently generous and well balanced. Everything in this restaurant says finesse and class. Franco the maître D models this in spades....what... More

Just excellent. Booked here when we couldn't get lunch at La Gavroche. We booked the lunch/dinner deal for after the theatre and it was fantastic. Great value as well as delicious. There was no scrimping for those of us that went for the set menu. Great service. Looking forward to going back for the tasting menu!

Coat check at the door. Knowledgeable staff. Lots of staff, wine waiters and food servers.Prompt service. Everybody at your table gets their food at the same time. Menus presented immediately. Lovely varied breads and butter. Three course set lunch including wine, coffee and petits fours at under £40. You could run up more than that in a substandard chain restaurant.... More

Wow! bookatable.com offered a 3 course lunch with half a bottle of wine for £35. Probably the best bargain we have ever experienced ever, anywhere in the world. Beautiful restaurant, immaculate service, delicious food and good wine. If you get the opportunity, go for it!
