There are so many excellent restaurants in London, why accept lousy service. I had heard from my colleague, the service was bad. But -- as a hotel guest, expected a better experience. No. The waiter had trouble explaining the menu. There was a bean on the menu I had never heard of. He didn't explain the bean -- even after... More

Had such a lovely evening at this restaurant. Having dined previously at Le Gavroche, our expectations for a Michel Roux dinner were high! The menu was very competitively priced and we had a fabulous three course meal. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked! The service was excellent and we will definitely be back!

Loved it, starting from the welcome, the bread, the exclusive bottle of Michel Roux red wine to the time between courses and the amazing 3 courses followed by the coffee, petit fours and the buzzing atmosphere it couldn't have been more perfect. Honestly we arrived at 530 and didn't leave until 8pm with no pressure, completely exquisite service and food... More

Main meal (venison) was fabulous Restaurant setting - great - relaxed atmosphere The staff were very attentive early on in the evening but as the restaurant became busier the wait became longer - I think they may have been short staffed Starter - quail and egg? - both starters were average

This is a lovely room with lots of light and space. The service is excellent, friendly yet professional. The food is excellent and, although we had the set lunch, we did not feel at all shortchanged (like you can in some restaurants) and we still got the amuse bouche and petits fours. The bread is very good and the cooking... More

Very formal this restaurant is situated in the Langham Hotel which also hold one of London's top bar in the Artesian, a must go venue. The Roux is as the names suggest is a joint venture of Michel and Albert Roux. The room is a round room and there are a variety of table locations which all offer something different.... More

My partner and I visited and had the three course set menu (including two glasses of wine) for £45 each. The setting was lovely and service impeccable as you would expect from any Roux establishment and we were spoilt for choice on the set menu for both dishes and wine choices. We had mackerel and soup for starter, poisson and... More

Being a massive fan of Michel Roux I hate to say that myself and my partner felt totally let down by this experience. When we arrived there were no staff on reception just a sign saying "back soon"! we were led into an impressive room that unfortunately appeared to have twice as many tables for the space as one would... My wife and I had the set lunch for 35 pounds each. The food was imaginative and tasty. The service was polite and efficient. It says something for the restaurant that it was virtually full on a weekday lunchtime at 2pm.

Booked a pre- theatre meal but upgraded to extras including a bottle if wine, petit fours and coffee. Worth the extra! Arrived early so took advantage of having a cocktail in the piano bar which was far less crowded and very reminiscent of lovely far eat hotels. Excellent service. Then went for meal in a very comfortable setting with lots... More
