we have eaten here quite a few times and it has always been good, this time it was absolutely packed but the charming blonde waitress was friendly helpful and pleasant at all times as was the manager. This place is actually called Bella Italia and has lots of restaurants over the country. Our food was hot but not the best... More

We were a bit hungry after shopping around and got excited to see a nice looking Italian restaurant. We definitely got overexcited too quickly because the 'nice looking' unfortunately stayed only on the outside. We were seated at a very small table between the kitchen and the toilet which we had to move a few times not to bother customers... More

We went into Bella Pasta as a group of 12 on Boxing Day and had a very good experience. The food was very nice, with many dishes different from your standard Italian (e.g. slow cooked beef pasta with cream sauce - to die for!). Service was prompt and courteous ie non-invasive. For a chain restaurant this was indeed a very... More

For a chain restaurant I love it! Good service and large portions, what can I say? Always do it at least once on a ski show weekend. The prawn starter is amazing!

Went here with a friend during a rush lunch hour. Got cramped in at a small table and had a pizza and a pasta dish. Bonus for whole wheat pasta, but that was the only bonus. The staff keep throwing each other remarks, dirty dishes where standing a long time next to the kitchen elevator, so was some of the... More

Our first visit to Bella Italia restaurant, and probably the last one. We were very disappointed with the menu, which doesn't have much to offer; and were very surprised with the prices - a plate of pasta £9 where the portion is too small to be sold for that price!! The staff was rather cold and bearely welcoming, and the... More

In the last two years, Bella Pasta seems to have gone downhill. Iused to enjoy their garlic batons, pastas and tarte au citron. The service (in several central London and Edinburgh locations) has never been overly friendly, but sufficient. This most recent trip we were served mouldy bread, which the server didn't offer to remove or replace. My friend had... More

...so I looked online to see what was available close to my hotel near Victoria station. Found Bella Italia at 152 Victoria Street. It was a chilly, rainy early evening, and I was so glad my hotel had called to make a reservation — there were people waiting and the line was out the door (granted, the entry was tiny).... More
