We went there on a busy Saturday night. Thankfully we managed to find some seats and had a nice evening. My only gripe was constantly being pushed as people worked past despite moving the table a few times. And having to wait ages at the bar to order food. That aside-good night had by all. I ordered a starter size... More

I love, love, love this place. What a find! I have been searching for a place just like this for a substantial period of time, and here it is! The occasion was brunch before I moved abroad, and we were pressed for time. The decor appealed to me, an old glamour shabby chic look - lots of deep colours, velvets... More

I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to stop by based on the exterior paint scheme. How foolish of me! I finally gave in because I was tired and the place is only 100 yards from our flat. My wife and I have now made The Trafalgar our regular spot for Sunday roast and often visit during the... More

Sat in the restaurant with a view of the river surrounded by a feel of nautical history. A nice selection of vegetarian dishes; the roasted squash was great.

We were hungry at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon when we walked by Trafalgar. Looked nice, so we went in. Since there was no host, we asked one of the bartenders if could sit at a particular table. He said yes, so we sat. And sat, until I finally went to the bar to ask if we had to order... More

This is a lively pub on the busy Kings Road. The clientele is made up of a mixture of locals and passing tourists. A wide selection of beers are available such as Duvel, Leffe and Sierra Nevada. All are rather pricey even for central London. I paid £5.20 for a pint of Sierra Nevada. The food is reasonable but nothing... More

We had afternoon drinks there to rest our feet on a weekday. The place has a welcoming feel once you go past the entrance. There were about 6 each of red and white wine by the glass. That being an exceptionally warm afternoon we had two whites - reasonably nice at their prices. We had a Cornish Brie with chutney... More

See our review on the Marquis Cornwallis in Bloomsbury. We went there anticipating original food and service from a typical London gastro pub. Four days later and, guess what, we are in the Trafalgar and the menu is identical right down to the punctuation. So neither are original or different which might explain why the food is but average. We... More
