Perfect Sunday roast

If your looking for a Sunday roast and you can't decide between beef or pork, look no further. Just order the roast for 2 here and you'll be absolutely satisfied. Cannot go wrong with this place. Fruity Pimms, Aspall on tap and friendly staff. To top it off they do one of the best burger and Sunday Roasts in SW.

Fancied Sunday Treat. so booked a table at the Prince of Wales, my 1st visit. On arrival we entered through the front door on to an everyday looking pub, but!! it opens up at the back to and airy Victorian glass topped eatery, with a fine list of wines; (we had the Braccus) delightful English number at £28.50, to accompany... The dining space itself is really nice - typical gastro-pub but none the worse for it. The menu looked interesting but I felt it was a little expensive for the offer. There was a fantastic range of drinks - some good ales and a couple of interesting ciders. The wine list looked good too. However, our dining experience was a 'mixed... More

I came here for dinner with my family. I have often had a drink after work in the pub area and thought it was about time I tried the restaurant. The actual restaurant area is quite small so I would advise booking a table - even on a weekday. The staff that served us were incredibly friendly and were quick... More

i can't believe I haven't found this pub before but I have always walked past, being underwhelmed by its modest exterior. Inside it is friendly and bustling near the bar and with a dining room at the back. We followed the waiters recommendations for food and wine and had a sharing dish of cote de boeuf washed down with a... More

My wife and I used the pub twice recently for Sunday lunch and received excellent food and service. Would recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a Sunday Roast in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Beer is good as well.

It does not look like much from the outside but once inside you feel captivated by the atmosphere this little pub has to offer. The staff are genuine and kind and so are the people that frequent the rooms. Its such a small place that you cannot help but sit close to people, huddled up on small benches and stools.... More

The friendly staff here are fast off the mark with great tasting homely food. There are loads of decorative oddities and things to draw your attention and spark conversation which is a really nice touch. Worth a stop.
