Excellent Value For Money

After a day's sightseeing , found this gem tucked away just off the main drag. Super friendly staff greeted us, and the meals were excellent, good size servings and very tasty , just loses a star because the burger my son ordered had no filling at all and it was an extra pound on top of the price... read more

Tucked away just off Oxford street I can't believe I've never been here before! 2 of us visited on a busy Saturday lunch time: the place was full from the moment we arrived and tables were turning constantly. Amazingly the waiter was the only staff member upstairs!!! (and I think just 1 woman in the kitchen?) whilst most people would... More

There was only one staff member but he was amazing. He did his best to get to everyone on time and he would keep on smiling at us even though he was clearly getting stressed out. Bless him :)

It will do. We went in for lunch on a November lunchtime, and it was blowing a gale outside, so not quite sure why they insisted on keeping the door open. We ordered our food, chicken burger and cheeseburger. They arrived relatively quickly. Although we did have to order sides of chips as the burgers didn't come with chips included... More

Stumbled across this place when famished from Saturday evening Christmas shopping in Oxford Street. It looked OK and lacked the massive queue that was outside the neighbouring Angus Steak House (whose menu, decor and prices had already proved unappealing anyway). It looked clean and the menu had plenty to interest us so we went in. We were seated straight away... More

We stumbled across the Woodstock whilst out on a shopping trip. The staff were very friendly - the beers were cheap and the vibe chilled. A hidden gem just off Oxford Street.

I stopped in on the strength of the reviews and once again Tripadvisor hit the mark. I really enjoyed the Caesar salad with a very nice dressing. It was a little salty. Service was really excellent. Friendly and attentive. Ambience was good too. It's not big but it's got that buzz. Recommended.

I visited The Woodstock the other day with my friends to find myself surprised by such mix of warm atmosphere, fanciful cocktails and remarkable food! Indeed a stop not to be missed on your tour around London!

Ordered steak for me, sausage and mash for my daughter. I have NEVER seen such a pathetic excuse a steak. More like a tough slice of beef! I asked for medium rare but it was worse than well done. It was so thin, the only way to get it medium rare would have been not to cook it! Sausages tough... More

A bizarre mix of themes (Japanese, English pub, Spanish beer, etc!) but quality, genuine service. Our - admittedly pretty well-behaved - children (11 and 9) very welcome. No kids menu, but we very rarely use those anyhow. Good food. So no complaints at all and will go back.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
