Think this might be the best Chinese restaurant in London. 4 of us for dinner tonight and it was fabulous. We ordered Peiking Duck in advance. Steamed dumplings are delicate. Spare ribs are great. Also had a lobster dish. Plenty to eat and wonderful. Dining room is beautiful atop a hotel with great views. Service is superb. Large tables are... More

Great views overlooking Hyde Park and, for this location (or in fact any location) was at the upper end of reasonably priced. Food was very high quality and waiters were pleasant, helpful and polite. Dim Sum was very good indeed (as was the duck!)

Took my mum and a couple of her friends for her birthday lunch. Staff didn't smile even once and weren't very attentive. Waited a long while for drinks to be served and for them to take our order. Felt like we literally had to catch their eye to get noticed. The food was lovely so a good score for that... More

Stunning setting. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great cocktails. The Dim sum was the best I've had in UK, and the mains (Pepper Beef, Gong Bao Prawns) were probably the best mains my wife and I have ever had in a chinese restaurant. The meat was so tender and the sauce spicy/sweet and fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for a family meal and were not disappointed. The food was of the highest quality and the view from the window was one to savour. The staff were extremely attentive and made sure that we were catered for at all times which added to the overall experience. Although the food was good I do feel the value for... More

Fantastic food, top quality and nicely presented. Everything was delicious; though I'd recommend the salt and pepper squid started which was truly excellent. The staff are extremely good and are very knowledgeable about the food - they were extremely helpful about my allergy and were able to advise me accordingly. The bar also did excellent cocktails with a fabulous view... More

This is a top quality place in any cuisine but it brings out the best in Chinese up marked cooking with a delicacy and refinement of flavours that bring it firmly into the gastronomic range. The duck special is the highlight of the evening but the dim sum appetiser and the main dishes are just as refined and delightful. The... More

My husband treated me to an unforgettable meal. We were greeted warmly and served by a team of highly professional staff . Robbie and the whole team looked after us with dedicated perception. To me the quality of a dining experience is more important than the pretentious drama . The dishes were stunning to look at and delivered wonderful satisfaction... More

This is the temple of Chinese duck in London - try the Xiaoxing wine with it or if you're rich and have a strong constitution have the Mao Tai !

A truly OUTSTANDING Chinese restaurant on the top floor of the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. It isn't cheap, but good golly is it a excellent. The Peking Duck is arguably the best I have ever had, even in Hong Kong. You have to pre-order but it is so worth while. The rest of the food is equally tasty and... More
