This restaurant (in the Chinese haute-cuisine stakes) sits atop one of London's most discreet five star hotels. It's popular with London's burgeoning Chinese community. I would reckon 80% of the clientele were Chinese which says about all you need to know regarding the quality and authenticity of the cooking. It's good. The dishes served are all intricately crafted. They also... More

If you find yourself in Kensington visit out this fabulous restaurant perched on the top floor of the Royal Garden Hotel. With stunning roof top views of Kensington Gardens and the London skyline, the dining experience takes it to another level. You have to pre order the house special -'Beijing Duck'. Enjoy the theatre of chef carving this stunning dish... More

Read the reviews and decided let's try some good duck! Still undecided about this. It wasn't overly good or overly bad. It really was just okay. The restaurant was very nice and fancy and the staff were really nice - top score for customer service! Preordered the duck, just like advised from other reviews and the duck was served in... More

Peking Duck was fabulous. 1/2 Duck was more than enough for two. We also had spring rolls that were very good. Service was average.

Priced for the view! That's what I'd say. Food is not bad, acceptable quality for its dim sum but way too oily. Saving grace was its seafood fried rice with salted fish. However food was served way too fast...need to slow down. Even though it's dim sum, the waiters and kitchen can serve/prepare the food slowly..else food will get cold!... More
