Description: Conveniently set in the heart of London's fashionable Marylebone village...
Conveniently set in the heart of London's fashionable Marylebone village, L'Autre Pied is the sister restaurant of the well-known Pied a Terre. Here, you will experience fine dining with a pleasantly affordable price tag in a relaxing atmosphere. The decor is an eclectic mix of warm woods and modern finishes which create a chic environment that is befitting of the accomplished cooking on offer. The food features imaginative and interesting contrasts that are well-conceived and carefully prepared. For the summer months, there is also the added advantage of eating outdoors whilst watching the world go by and for an extra special experience, enjoy private dining for up to 16 guests.

Tasty food in nice restaurant

I came here as part of my partner's birthday celebrations as we have not eaten here before and wanted to try this place out before we made a decision about visiting Pied-a-terre at a later date. We booked a table early in the evening so that we would have the choice of the pre-theatre menu which... read more

This was our first Michelin starred restaurant and we came away very happy. Great service without being too snobby and every dish we had was delicious.

Been to L'autre Pied a few times and whilst not quite up there with its sister restaurant Pied a Terre is still very solid with excellent service and a great menu. We went a la Carte and the courses were delicious and well sized. Will be a repeat guest.

We took my husband's mum here for her birthday for a bit of a treat. We all had the taster menu which was good, with some excellent dishes and some not so successful. The service was good but the waiter favoured one of our party who is a bit of a wine buff and seemed to top him up but... More

We had been given a Michelin starred experience via buy-a-gift, and this was the restaurant we selected to enjoy the experience in. Used it over my birthday as an extra treat I have enjoyed several taster menus at a variety of locations including various Gordon Ramsey etc and this experience was up there with the best of them. The atmosphere... More

As someone who dines out regularly in London, it is easy to spot a restaurant that goes just that little bit further than the competition - and I can certainly say L'Autre Pied fits this category! The whole experience was outstanding - from the food to the service. The combination of flavours in the food was fantastic, and the presentation... More

My partner and I had dinner here, having been given a voucher for a Michelin starred dining experience as a gift. This meant we got the tasting menu (billed as five courses, but more like 9 if you include amuse bouche, appetiser, pre-dessert and petits fours) and a glass of fizz - we paid extra for the wines. The food... More

Hi gazzam76, thank you for your comments, I’m pleased you enjoyed the meal and your husband enjoyed the experience of Michelin dining at L’Autre Pied. I’m so glad you picked up on the atmosphere being more informal than at Pied a Terre as that’s exactly what we are aiming for! I hope to welcome you both back soon, David Moore. More

Love spending a weekend lunch here, the staff are courteous but the show stopper is definitely the food. I have visited a few times as the menu is forever changing and for the better. Add it to your list of 'must do'

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
