The Front Room, an achingly trendy brunch joint in the hipster hinterland of Finsbury Park/Hornsey Road, is only partly redeemed by its charming and efficient service staff. The place is bursting of a Sunday morning, brunch being a classic hipster meal, but arriving just a bit ahead of the second wave of hung-over clientele, we lucked out with a pavement... More

Nice quality cafe (definitely a step up from a greasy spoon but not too fussy) with cool interior and seats outside on the pavement. Been here many time and consistently good food for reasonable price.

Funky café with a good breakfast menu and fairly decent coffee from Allpress. Quick, decent breakfast, although the eggs could have been a touch softer.

Really good value for money. The bacon and sausages rocked my world but sadly my black Americano saddened me, as did the poached eggs.

I come here all the time and fully recommend this place! People are nice and friendly. The tables are a little cramped but I think that adds to the quirky feel.

Very Stroud Green. Young(ish) happening cafe, very good range of breakfast, brunch lunch type things, friendly service. Not super cheap but good ingredients, sometimes have to wait a bit but its very popular..

A nice cafe in a busy street - quirky and interesting. Seating outside right near the traffic, but that's London...good coffee, good cake, good service, lovely soup.

This is a nice place to spend a Sunday morning, but it's not always consistent. I've had great breakfasts but terrible coffee, and awesome service some days and surly, reluctant waiters on other days. Definitely a good local choice but not amazing.
