Great experience

Simply Brilliant Arrived at 8:30pm Sat 28th Feb to find a very very busy restaurant but as we had booked a table we were soon ushered to our seats. We took our time selecting many different dishes from the dim sum menu list plus a case of 10 Asahi beers. As there were 8 of us we managed to... read more

The restaurant was small and we felt that it was very cramped. We opted for Lazy Sumday (£21.95pp for dim sum buffet) which we found to be good value for money. I'd give the dim sum 7/10 and I think it could have been even better if we had a bigger stomach to taste and appreciate it all! Although the... More

Went after a theatre show. We are able to get a two for two however unable to sit outside. There is a variety of food options on the menu which enabled me to taste a range of dishes, the tables were quite small so it was a tight squeeze for the different dishes. Overall good food, service, location and atmosphere.... More

A friend visiting London was keen to have dim sum at Ping Pong so I suggested this central, riverside restaurant. I have been here many, many times. We were a group of 6. We arrived shortly after 12 noon on Sunday and were promptly provided a table. On Sundays they have all day a 'Lazy SumDay' offer (all you can... More

My family and I ate here during a trip to London, and we were thoroughly impressed. We went for the set menus, and there was plenty of food and lots of variety. The dim sum were very fresh and service was great.

Ideally located by the southbank centre went there on a busy saturday afternoon without a booking. Despite a cold welcome by the lady at the counter, we accepted to seat on the terrace which has heaters. We went for a selection of dim sums all approx £4 each and they were simply delicious. also The sticky prawn scallop rice was... More

Went there twice recently, dinner on Mon at 6pm and lunch on Thur at 12. Despite being one of the first tables to order and several complaints were made, the set never arrived. Waiting staff didn't know their menus and kept getting confused...the food never arrived so it wasn't complicated. Manager dealt with it in the end but it ruined... More

Having visited the TV studios, we were all in need of refuelling. The restaurants along the SouthBank were very busy especially as it was half term but Ping Pong had space which was lucky as there were 6 of us. It was great to have a round table. The restaurant was very busy and noisy so a quiet conversation was... More

The restaurant serves chinese food in a quirky style where you order by ticking boxes on a big sheet with their pencil. The trouble is you order too much and never really know what order it will come to you. The food is very nice and particularly the Won Tons and other dumplings. The menu changes and you can join... I really go weak at the knees at the mention of any Ping Pong in London and I've dined out at the lot! But this version is my favourite and they've just added an outside terrace under the arch.Order everything/anything from the menu it's all delicious. Mochis and Hot Saki for deserts mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
