Great pre-gig grub

We ordered way too many plates of dim sum, but they were so delicious we ate them anyway. On Friday nights like this, it is advisable to arrive around 6pm if you are in a group of any more than two people. Service was good enough, but not outstanding. Great for pre-gig dinner at the Southbank... read more

Good service, nice area to dine in. A table was made available quickly despite being quite busy. Prices for each dish not too high. Adequate portion sizes. Would recommend if you're in a rush to get the trains!

Me and my husband went on a Sunday evening, we were expecting it to be quite quiet but we were wrong! It looked busy but we were seated straight away at a lovely table outside (we asked for outside) the decor was lovely, staff were friendly, upbeat and helpful. The food arrived very quickly and everything was fantastic, excellent choice... More

For me, the overall experience is what matters the most which starts right from the moment you enter into the restaurant to you last thank you. The staff was very courteous and kind. They do not reserve tables to less than 6 people but we were politely asked to wait in the lounge area. The lounge (on the first floor)... More

Have to say am not an expert on dim sums (actually, this was the first time I had them), but really enjoyed my visit here. The restaurant was full so got seated outside, but there's heating outside so this was ok (May was not too warm yet). The dim sums were pretty tasty, and the service good, even if slightly... More

I absolutely adore the food from Ping Pong. My husband and I got the 2 people combo and left the restaurant wishing we had more time in London to try more things from the menu. Staff super friendly! As we went for a very late lunch on a week day, it was not busy.

Came here for a meal with a friend of mine, it's a fun restaurant and I can't really fault the serving staff, one of them was brilliant when my friend enquired about where the copper kettles for the tea came from - he came up with a list of 4 sellers! The food was really good, fantastic dim sum (I... More

Really disappointing visit to ping pong, I understand it was a Friday, but the service was awful. Dishes that we ordered didn't arrive (also still appeared on the bill), when we asked to swap something from the set menu, we were questioned about it in a rude way, waited ages for the bill then saw they added 12.5% service charge.... Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
