This Pizza Express is the one I visit when I'm either at the Odeon Panton Street or when I came to see "Sunny Afternoon" at the Harold Pinter Theatre. A large two floor venue though I always sit by the upstairs window to watch the street life of Piccadilly whilst I eat. This is the ideal venue for Piccadilly as... More

We visited this branch of of Pizza Express this afternoon for lunch. There was 4 of us in total, two adults and two children. I have visited a few branches of Pizza Express and I have to say that this branch is one of the best by far. The staff were polite and efficient, they were great with the children... More

We went in here for a pre-theatre meal. On the board outside they were advertising 2 course for £10. When you got seated you were given a menu, but they didn't offer the £10 deal unless you asked for it?? Not very good customer service. Food was good, but when we got our bill. They charged us full price so... More

I went into pizza express at around half past 4 and was greeted by a surly looking man who didn't seem happy at all that I had come in to the very quiet restaurant, and asked whether I needed to book a table for 2 in about an hour.. He said "no just come back it'll be fine" I left... More

Ian Shaw superb at the Pizza Express, Dean Street, Soho. Fantastic interpretation of jazz standards with sublime piano playing. Loved it!

was going to china town but decided to try something else, so wandering into this pizza place. Decor is totally fast good type and worse than the restaurants at China town but it is not cheap for a pizza here. Ordered a Four Seasons pizza with four quardroons, each of which gets its.own toppings. Pizza is cold and soggy, no... More

Needing somewhere cheap to eat, seeing that Pizza Express is part of TasteCard we opted to share a thin crust pizza and a chicken salad with bread sticks. The pizza was excellent, on a par with some we ate in Italy. The salad was also reasonable although could have done with more dressing. We both enjoyed the food but felt... More

As a birthday treat, me and my best friend spent the day in London. Traveling from Milton Keynes we had a fairly easy journey. Having walked for most of the morning and early afternoon this was a perfect place to eat. The waiter was very friendly and we had a lovely conversation. It's the first time we both had been... Went with a group of people and a lot of us ordered the margarita as it was the cheapest thing on the menu. I waited a long time only to receive a pizza with next to no cheese on it. After my friend flagged it up with the waiter, he told us it was the 'Pizza Express way'. Evidently it... More

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
