Okay, but not the best we've visited.

Food was up to the usual standard, but the ambience wasn't. So many tables have been squeezed in, that even the staff find difficulties moving about. It was all a bit frantic, but then service was very quick. Be aware though that there is a large seating area downstairs that you aren't made aware... read more

We went to this restaurant for a pre theatre meal. The service was first class and the food of a high quality. Will certainly return.

We were very pleased with a good service at this restaurant. Starters came very quickly followed by pizzas. Food was good and service was great. Azzurra was great at serving us, she let us to choose our table and was very polite and smily, made us feel welcomed and happy. Also we liked watching how our pizzas were prepared. Definitely... I came here for dinner before the theatre this is ideal for this purpose, the stairs are steep for going downstairs to the toilet and I would suggest avoid sitting the front door as it gets a little drafty.. the food is good though standard pizza express fare. I would say standard pizza express - but good and handy for... More

I was insulted to be charged 13£ (about $20 US) for a tasteless 10 inch pizza at a location near Leicester square (not this exact one but it's s chain after all so what's the difference really?) I'd passed several of these restaurants in my recent UK trip and gave in to the impulse to try one out thinking "how... More

Despite being in a very central location, I've never had to wait for a table here. We were a table of 8 ordering a mix of drinks, pizzas and pasta dishes. The food took around 30-35 minutes although the restaurant was practically empty (we were there around 22:20) Staff were friendly enough and toilet facilities were adequate.

Big place, very cold ac when we arrived which they kindly turned off. Thin crust Roman style pizza was excellent. Marble topped tables and rather glamorous setting. Cheerful staff but rather stark

We were in Piccadilly Circus and we needed somewhere to eat so we thought Pizza Express and the waiters sat is down very quickly. The menu had a wide variety of food from pizza to salad. We ordered our starters and 15 minutes later it came straight away as a delicious looking starter. The staff were extremely cheerful and made... More

Me and my husband had a fun dinner at Pizza Express. We had dough balls (must try), awesome pizza and an amazing lasagna. The taste was amazing and all was fresh. Staff was great and friendly. This place is just opposite to Leicester Square station if you take the correct exit :).

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
