It is 4* only because it is actually a basement area and hence has no character or atmosphere. Otherwise the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and kind, the prices were very reasonable and in general we had a very good experience. I would definitely recommend it for something quick, delicious and reasonably priced.

I went by myself, which usually is a little weird, but the staff served me just as quickly and welcomingly as any other group in the restaurant. That being said, my green tea was room temperature, and my soup was warm, but not hot, which was disappointing. It tasted ok, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

I love Wagamama as they can do both vegan and gluten free. The food here was very good, and the service was swift and friendly (we chose Wagamama as we only had an hour to eat). I had not been to this branch before and will probably not return. The building is not in great condition, and needs a refurbishment... More

Great little restaurant to visit on your lunch break for tasty food, prompt service with a smile and some nice chat! The manager on duty Monika was particularly attentive and lovely, thank you, will come back again!

I visited as I love wagamama but on this experience I was little disappointed. I found the venue to small and really loud just seemed like everyone was having to shout at each other. The food come very quickly which was great and tasted good. My main grumble was the state of the ladies toilets they were disgusting, if I... More

This place has the romance of an artichoke..... but the food is not too bad and plentiful, although I found the ginger in my meal to be a bit overwhelming! The service was okay, not quick but not so slow that you were going grey! I was here with a tour group and most of the kids liked the food... More

I love Wagamama's....usually. But this experience has left me cold. We had to wait for ages to be seated and the restaurant was empty. We then had to wait for ages for our order to be taken. Our drinks were then on the bar for a very long time, while the staff just 'chatted', Manager participating in chat. Food was... More

Do not expect a Michelin starred menu or service. The decoration (or lack of it) is below the standards. Anyway, this is not a restaurant to take a date or special occasion. For a quick meal during the day or before going out it does the job and won't harm your pocket. However if you have have any expectation or... More

Time to seat, order and eat took forever. Hot drinks were served cold. Food was decent as expected from the company standards. The service was the biggest thing lacking. We wanted to order deserts but couldn't bare the timeframe. We were In the restaurant for an hour and a half for just the main course and drinks. If you have... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
