Quick and easy

Arrived when there were limited tables but the staff soon turned one around for us. We were served quickly and the food surprisingly quick, was fresh and tasty. They are open till 11:30 on Friday and Saturday so we were to grad a nice dinner after our show. The noodles and chicken gyoza are excellent.

We decided to eat here prior to going to a matinee. We managed to totally miss the entrance to the restaurant, not sure whether this was due to the fact there was not a significant frontage to the restaurant as it is not at street level but downstairs or due to the fact that we arrived during a downpour. We... More

Wagamama’s is situated in the hustle and bustle of Leicester Square, once you get through the crowds you’re in. Not my favourite Wagamama’s for layout wise as located in the basement. I wasn’t keen on the fact that they didn’t appear to have a designated front counter, as it was just at the foot of the stairs. The food is... More

Perhaps in England this is good asian fusion cuisine, but coming from LA this is just another chain. The pork ramen was bland, the broth was thin and needed seasoning. The chicken stir-fry was so spicy that you couldn't taste anything else. The service was good and efficient, not too crazy about the picnic bench seating.

I ordered a table for eight to meet with with some friends @ Wagamama I didnt saw for quite some time. And what shall I say? Of course I could book a table for a given time. When we arrived everything was ready for us. Our meals we enjoyed very much and - for me it was the first time... More

Among the tourist trap restaurants, Waga's stands out like a jewel. You can eat a good meal for £10 although it's not a place you linger for long. The bit that doesn't stand out is the entrance; you have to look for the stairs and walk down stairs. If you're in Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square or Charing... More

It is 4* only because it is actually a basement area and hence has no character or atmosphere. Otherwise the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and kind, the prices were very reasonable and in general we had a very good experience. I would definitely recommend it for something quick, delicious and reasonably priced.

I went by myself, which usually is a little weird, but the staff served me just as quickly and welcomingly as any other group in the restaurant. That being said, my green tea was room temperature, and my soup was warm, but not hot, which was disappointing. It tasted ok, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

I love Wagamama as they can do both vegan and gluten free. The food here was very good, and the service was swift and friendly (we chose Wagamama as we only had an hour to eat). I had not been to this branch before and will probably not return. The building is not in great condition, and needs a refurbishment... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
