Not my favourite at all. Went there once, food hasn't got much taste. It is like going to Bella Italia expecting tasty Italian food... There are loads of better Greek restaurants in London!

A friend and I ate at the real Greek on Sunday evening and were very impressed! There was excellent choice and I could have eaten almost everything on the menu very happily!! We ordered 3 dishes each and some flatbreads and hummus to start and shared the lot- the food tasted amazing and left just enough space for dessert! The... More

We booked for a large group of 10. The team serving us were great, Tenia and Giorgos looked after us all night. Very personal and the food was just delicious and OMG there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was fun with lots of talking and drinking. Very enjoyable night after a very hectic day at work.

We were really looking forward to revisiting this restaurant and its been a clear favourite of our friends who live in Marylebone for some time. There seemed to be new staff and the guy that greeted us was not as welcoming as the ladies that were there before. The waiter's tone was somewhat surly and when we asked if we... More

Stopped by this lovely restaurant that serves Greek food. The Greek salad had large chunks of feta, tomatoes, yellow and read peppers and olives. This is the closest to the real Greek salad that I’ve had outside of Greece, and all the cooks are from there. The homemade hummus was slightly chunky and served with fresh pita, and the chicken... Have always enjoyed the Real Greek being a lover of Greek food. But this time I was disappointed. The hummus and lentil salad (2 separate dishes) were just ok and visually dull. The souvlaki rolls were tasty! Lovely tart yogurt dressing with the rolls. Very good. The cous cous salad was boring and tasteless. So room for improvement!! Please pill... More

After much deliberation I booked the Real Greek in Marylebone for a big birthday celebration. There were 19 of us and the numbers slightly altered right up until the day of the booking! Kostas and his staff however took it all in their stride and could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The meal was wonderful for a big... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
