I have dined in the Covent Garden outlet a couple of times and have always enjoyed their food. I have been promising my friend I would take her next time we were in town but have never got round to it. Stayed in Marylebone this weekend so took full advantage of this restaurants location. Quieter than Covent Garden ( no... More

I previously ate 12 months ago at The Real Greek and had an excellent lunch so I had high expectations of another good meal when I visited last week. Not only had the menu changed but so had the quality of the meal....not for the better. I chose lamb skewer with rice and salad. While the skewered lamb was nicely... More

Lunch special for just under £9 which is one course - flat break, tzatziki, salad and meat skewer. It was quite average served with reasonable service. The restaurant looks like a modern chain - clean & nice in darkish wood. Dont feel the need to rush back in a hurry. It's OK and average. To be honest I came only... More

The place is usually packed and thus they serve slow, but food is good, almost as in Greece, but greek salad is served not in greek way.

I was surprised to find this restaurant rated in the 900s out of over 27,000 restaurants in London. Five of us reserved the homey wooden table in this small restaurant. The server was charming and helpful. We ordered a variety of meze plates to share, a couple of main lamb dishes, and a nice bottle of Greek wine and were... More

I know its grown into a small chain, but I'm always drawn into this Real Greek for a great selection of Greek dishes that are always very fresh and appealing. Its got an informal atmosphere, and I like to order a selection of the small portion dishes including the old favourites of Tzatziki; Aubergines with Tomatoes; Salt cod; Kalamari; Bifteki... More

Always a reliable decent meal. Attentive and friendly staff. Gets very busy towards the end of the week. We usually stick to the meze and mix things up, but there is a fuller complete menu available for those interested in trying. The house red wine is a French one and pretty drinkable. It goes well with the cuisine.

The "Real Greek" is a small London-based chain, with five or six branches in central London. This, which is one of the more intimate, is also the original restaurant, at one time the only restaurant with this name. I have been to other branches too, and the food is outstanding in all the branches. What they do particularly well are... More

We ate here with friends on a busy Saturday evening just before Christmas. The manager kindly fitted us in despite our not having a reservation and most of the few empty tables having 'Reserved' notices on them. While it's part of a small chain, it felt very individual and all the better for that! We had a really enjoyable, casual... More
