I have mixed feelings about this place. Tried several meze, including tzatziki, dolmades, pork belly, lamb kefta & chicken wings. I must admit that the food was overall decent and the portions were fine for 2, though one must order quite a lot to eat enough, which makes the bill a bit salty for what it is (in our case,... More

Having not been able to have Gyros for many years ( 30 ) the first thing we did in London was make a bee line for this restaurant. It was worth the wait,,,, first class food and service .

A wonderful meal - the food and service were excellent. We had the Souvlaki platter for two with the house red. There was more than enough food, and it was certainly value for money. We had a really enjoyable evening there, and would definitely return.

A large restaurant that looks like a chain but which really managed to get the food right. Quick and efficient service. Reasonable value. They even had grilled octopus - and it was good!! (Even though there were no fresh ones hanging over the doorway...)

If you want to try some Greek it is fine, go and try it. But I won't suggest this place for couple romantic diner, is crowded and noisy, the tables are one next the other. The food is good but honestly I think overpriced. In order to have a view on the river you must ask for a table next... More

We went here on spur of the moment, on a Sat eve, myself, husband and 3 year old- it was really busy and there was a good atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and everyone seemed to be working really hard. We hadn't booked, so we didn't mind waiting 20 mins for a table, but nonetheless the hostess was... More

Meze Food was lovely, suited us perfectly. Don't choose baklava for sweet, not nice! Restaurant was very busy. Second time we've been and both times difficult to get attention of waiting staff. Even paying the bill took over ten minutes.

Our plans changed at the last moment leaving us hungry at supper time in Southwark. We didn't realize at the time that The Real Greek was a chain restaurant, especially as they had a chef grilling kebabs on the front patio. It quickly became apparent that there was a formula. The restaurant was completely full and the narrow patio overlooking... More

Really busy, hadn't booked but hostess found us a table. Family of four, kids aged 5 and 7. Kids menu which doubled as an activity sheet, great to keep them entertained. Food came quick and was delicious. Although very busy staff were very attentive. Would recommend!

This was a tourist trap for sure. They offer little plates at okay prices, but charge for everything, including pita bread for hummus. Our waiter saw us twice, clearly kept forgetting we were sitting there. The food was burnt and dry. We tasted it outside and it was delicious, so it seemed that maybe there is good food there, we...
