Could be a lot better.

We hadn’t had a Greek meal since our holiday in Kos last year and as we regularly visit the local branches of the Italian chains that are Real Greek’s neighbours – we thought we’d give it a go. We hadn't booked but luckily arrived before the Saturday evening rush as it got full very quickly ! Food was plentiful and lovely, and the live music was great. Great position on the Thames. Only drawback was that the waiter gave us someone else's food order 😒 Would definately go back.

Stumbled upon the real greek restaurant by accident and so happy we did! Started with flatbread, olive oil, dukkah and melitzanosalata and wow! Such a mixture of flavours without being to over the top. Then the souvlaki to share with new potatoes and greek salad. Definitely over ordered and was very full, the wraps were lovely maybe would be nice... More

Myself and a friend visited before going to the tate modern. We had the Sovolaki for two. My friend is a vegetarian and they were happy to swap out one of the meat dishes for a veggie option. For £21 you get three Sovolaki (fancy wraps) and two sides/salads. We had saffron rice and a cous cous salad. Both lovely.... More

Sometimes very busy but worth waiting for a table. Tasty authentic food and a friendly atmosphere. Good value for money and family friendly. Lovely to sit outside on a sunny day.

I went there for dinner on a Saturday evening. There were a couple of empty tables for two. Nevertheless I was seated at the bar where you have a ridiculous lamp mounted on the table such that you couldn't place a plate. A very busy, noisy place. Anyways, looked at the menu - seemed ok. Swarms of waiters around me,... More

Excellent atmosphere and a lot of Greek dancing! A Saturday night that I will remember! Really nice, genuine people, always smiling (Thomas your energy made our night even better!). The only negative I could find was the calamari, but there are many other options to go for!

My wife and I were part of a party that had lunch in the Real Greek a few days ago. The restaurant was very well presented, clean etc. The welcome was friendly and helpful. The food, the lunchtime menu (£8.95pp), was good value and overall the experience was excellent. I would certainly recommend to others and would return again myself.

8 of us had lunch at the Real Greek, Bankside. Pleasant welcome on arrival and escorted to our booked table next to the window. Waiting for the others to arrive, 3 of us had a bottle of house white wine, some flatbreads and olives. All very tasty. I had the lunch-time special which was good value with a good range... More

On the bank of the Thames is this glass front restaurant with delicious Greek offerings. Our group liked it all & noted the fried cheese to be so different than expected & delicious. The food is served in an unique offering & plentiful.
