At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Right in the heart of London’s dazzling West End, our Victoria restaurant is a favourite among the 9 to 5ers and theatre goers alike. With the likes of Billy Elliot, Wicked and Victoria Station less than a 5 minute walk away, we’re in good company. Inside the restaurant, you’ll find nods to one of London’s busiest train stations: Victoria. Whether you’re arriving in London or just in between trains, stop by and take a load off. After all, travel can be terribly stressful.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

Food and staff quite good

Staff here were quite good and we were served quite promptly even though there was a decent lunch time crowd in. The food however took a good 20 minutes to get to us, though the garlic bread did arrive after 10 minutes or so, unfortunately it was round like a pizza and the centre was burnt to a... read more

Visited this restaurant at the weekend and was not pleased at all. We were greeted at the door by a man who clearly did not want to give us a seat as he rolled his eye and tutted. We were got out food which was okay for the price, it wasn't overly hot. After receiving the bill we placed our... More

A friend and I grabbed dinner here after work. The waiter was great but the food wasn't so great, and it didn't really agree with me either. My friend's seafood risotto looked quite nice but she didn't really rave about it. My lamb meatballs were a bit of a mess. It felt more like leftovers than anything particularly special. My... More

Having a reservation was a must for a Saturday night even at 1745. After waiting 5 mins to get through the door ahead of the queue of walk-ins being told there would be at least an hours wait we were seated close to the door. We were immediately moved to a more central table when the waiter overheard us mention... More

We were welcomed in with gusto and seated at the front on what was a very busy night in here. The specials were hand written on brown paper suspended over the diners heads. The lighting was in glass jars again over our heads. Ordered up starters and mains. Both of these courses lacked taste, no real volume or substance -... More

We came here for a late dinner after a show at the Apollo theatre, it was about 10:15 pm and we were poorly greeted by a guy that seemed to be rushing everything so he could go home. I asked him if kitchen was still opened and his reply was 'yes, but we close at 11pm sharp'. We thought 'ok... More

Convenient to pop into after a visit to St James's theatre at about 4.45 p.m., yesterday, a Saturday. As expected from a chain, nothing exciting on the menu. I chose the mushroom tortellini which came out on a cold place and was luke warm. My companion had the chicken, which was tender, but nothing special. There weren't enough waiters and... More

Excellent and very quick service. We popped in before seeing a show and were worried there would be a long wait as it was busy. The staff professionally seated us within 10 minutes and we were able to order, enjoy our meals and pay the bill within 40 mins, leaving us plenty of time for a drink before the start... More

Myself and 13 other members booked a table at the restaurant for a birthday meal. The service was ok not great, as the waiter was a little rude at points, however the food was all of a high standard! Good quality for a chain restaurant!!!

We have been to Zizzi's several times over the years, and for the first time we were disappointed. Menu seemed a bit boring, nothing new, and the pizza we had was just a pizza, noting out ofthe ordinairy. The restaurant used to becosy and clean, now it is cold and noisy. So go there if ou are in a hurry... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
