Lunched at Fishworks for the first time, with a 50% discount by booking through TopTable. The restaurant is small, but not oppressively so, with a wet fish counter at the front. Thus you can see what you are about to eat before it's cooked and you can be sure that it wasn't frozen! My colleague had scallops and a piece... More

This is little hidden gem...food was great and very fresh. The house White Sauvignon Blanc was great for the price too and complemented the fish very well. Staff are very polite and courteous. Overall it was the perfect meal.

First the positives - excellent fish, fresh and well presented, service attentive and pleasant. Not cheap, but prices are fair considering the quality of the food and the high-rent location. However - we were there at lunch time when a low-cost lunch menu is advertised outside, this was not brought to us until we asked. Also - no tap water... More

Fishworks is a nice little sea food restaurant, and is one of the very few places in London where they serve fresh sea food. Getting good sea food in London is not very easy, so for that sole purpose this place is an absolute gem. The restaurant has a cool and quirky feel to it, entrance is through a fishmonger,... More

I have visited Fishworks Marylebone several times since my last review and I must admit that these guys are so consistent on both fronts of their business - in the restaurant and in the fishmongers. I do buy their gourmet fish & chips take away at least once a week and it is always a healthy portion of freshly cooked... More

We booked via Top Table, on a special 50% off offer, but did not realise that you had to order a starter, and main, thought you could order a main, then dessert. The food was very well cooked, and presented, but the prices were very steep considering you had to order all potatoes, vegetables etc seperately. Would possibly go again... More

Have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the fish dishes on offer. Seems fresh, well cooked - above all not overcooked - and friendly, knowledgeable service. Loses a star only because the tables are quite close together and the noise levels when full - which is usually has been when I go which is a compliment to it... More

the restaurant has been recommanded by our English friends. We made a reservation, which seems to be necessary, because when we arrived, at 8 p.m (Friday evening), almost all tables were occupied. So, without reservation no table. We had lovely fish food, starter: crab and as main delicious Halibut and Seabass. You get what you see, the food is not... More

I love this restaurant, i've been here many times and it doesn't dissapoint. You do need to book because at night it's always busy. It's in a great Location on Marylebone High Street so if you come at lunch time definitely do some shopping. I recommend the homemade taramasalata with breads to nibble on pre starter and the whitebait which... More

We were lucky to get a walk in table on a busy Saturday evening. Service was excellent. Whitebait with wasabi mayo was perfect. Seabass with rosemary was delicious, boned perfectly and so nice to have the lemon wrapped in muslin so no chasing rogue pips around the place. Definitely not a venue if you don't like fish as the only... More
