The menu is a bit eclectic, but it has vegan choices. I had the lasagna, which was good in a UK way (béchamel sauce, a bit different from Yank lasagna) while my wife had a mezze platter. Her platter was OK but the humus had a strange smoked flavor. With those two dishes, tea, and a glass of wine the... More

Try Raouls for breakfast. The poached eggs are excellent and add the crispy bacon which is superb. Service is sharp and whenever we've been the food has been good.

Nice crowded place in the heart of Notting Hill The full English breakfast is quite decent, not the best in town but all right The Benedict eggs with Spinach are average, with a hollandaise sauce with too much lemon Coffee not hot and strong enough Service very good

Go here if you want a good English-style breakfast. Minutes walk from Westbourne Grove or Portobello Road. Not cheap, but a welcoming, easy-going atmosphere. On weekend mornings the place is generally full of local moms and dads with their offspring (qualilty time?).Expect to pay around 10GBP for breakfast, including service.

Came here for brunch with a friend and we weren't overly impressed with the food. It was just okay and nothing special. Don't get me wrong, the food was nice but very average and plain. Service also wasn't great, not very friendly or efficient. Would I come back here? Probably not, there are many brunch spots around Notting Hill which... More

The staff here is not very friendly and made a big deal out of the fact that two of our party arrived 10mins after us, even though we had warned them this would be the case and offered to wait outside. As for the food it was just not good at all. Out of 6 people not one of us... More

Noisy with a buzz. Food is ok average at best. Asked for runny eggs which came as thick as rock. But the terrible thing for me was the terrible service . The head waiter which I think was the owner was annoyed with everything we asked and made us feel he didn't want us to be there! Asked for a... More

A short stroll off the Portobello Road finds this long established neighbourhood joint. Great coffee, eggs benedict, all the usual suspects. Just a pity they stopped offering the egg and chips - the classic.

Great coffee and a tasty Bakewell tart served by a friendly Hungarian waitress. Very noisy, lots of clattering crockery and a coffee machine making a right racket. Nice mirrors.

We went here after looking for a place to have breakfast on the last day of a weekend break. When you get there, the orange colour is so warm and inviting. I had potato cakes with spring onions and bacon with poached eggs, and my boyfriend had fried eggs with toast, sausages, grilled tomatoes and toast. The potato cakes... !!!!!!!!... More
