Good food but pricey!!!

You'll be surprised to learn that the prices of dim sum here is more expensive than that in China Town, Leicester Square. I really enjoyed the meal here, I suppose the more expensive dim sum pays for the views over the Quay, the swans and moorhens and mallards are great company. The food... read more

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions now and enjoyed it every time. It is my 7 year old granddaughter's favourite and both she and her little brother enjoy the informal friendly environment and the food. I notice that a lot of reviews talk about ordering too much Dim Sum and we are no exception, but we never have... More

My family and I have come here for years. Service is great and the food is tasty every time. Our eyes are always too big for our bellies and we always over order, but staff are always happy to let you pack up food you can't finish! The food is too tasty to waste.... Highly recommended.

I miss my malaysian food and this restaurant offers the great fix. I love the aromatic roasted duck, best ever. Service is really good for a Chinese restaurant. Price is reasonable for the quality of food offered. I go there almost weekly!

Lovely Dim Sum in the most authentic setting that you can imagine. It is one of the most original dinner or lunch places in town.

A great find. Sitting on the water looking at the surrounding buildings lit up. Good atmosphere, great service, very nice food. So nice, we all ate rather more than we intended. It was rather busy by the time we left, so worth booking. It was great to feel like we had been transported somewhere else. Hard to imagine we were... More

Had a solid Chinese meal here recently, located on large converted boat in one of the dock basins at Canary Wharf. Friendly and efficient staff, nice sim sum, especially scallops/squid in chilli and garlic. Mains of Scheuzen prawns, crispy beer and duck with ginger and pineapple all very good. Enjoyed it.

I have eaten at the Lotus at least once a visit the last 5 years. They serve the most amazing and delicious dim sum. Easily reached by the DLR to Canary Wharf.

We both enjoyed the lunch. We had to wait for a long time time until we got a seat. I recommend to reserve a table before you go there at busy hours.

Visited The Lotus Floating after my boyfriend keep bragging how great it is! And it was AMAZING. Great value for money, the portion sizes are very very generous and the food is lovely. Not greasy at all and great flavours. We paid £29 per head and it was worth it, and we took all our many left over home take... More
