Food tastes horrible and is so over priced for what is offered. The waitirs look like they work under gunpoint too... Not good!

Everyone single one of the staff looked miserable and had an attitude like they didn't want to be there and it was more then an effort to even serve us. Good was very nice but didn't wanna stay for anymore then mains as it was too depressing!

I have just celebrated another birthday with my family at this restaurant and the experience, as always, was brilliant. The service was good, the food was delicious and the atmosphere great! We have never had a bad experience here, whether visiting at lunch time or for an evening meal and whether there has been just 6 of us, or indeed... More

I have been coming here for dim sum for years and will never stop as it beats any other restaurant offering this in London in my opinion. I only ever order from the dim sum restaurant so I can only review on this. it's soooo delicious. I go every other month or so as it's such a bargain for great... More

We were unable to obtain a booking as the restaurant was full. We were told to ring half an hour before you need a take away, this was at 17.30hrs. So at 18.45 we rang to order a take away but now we told it would take an hour to collect, so when said it was contrary to their earlier... More

We were staying near Excel, and had a Chinese business partner to entertain, so this came up as a good choice. Table booked no problem, it was a Wednesday, so wasn't expecting it to be too busy. Huge menu selection, good staff, and food was excellent. If this was my local, I would happily eat here regularly. Saw a number... More

Having booked a table for four for 7.00 p.m. on a Saturday it was irritating that there was not a suitable table available when we arrived and we had to sit (or, in the case of two of us, stand!) in the very cramped bar area. I would have thought it would be standard practice to tell customers occupying tables... More

Nice enough Chinese restaurant in the centre of Canary Wharf so a good location. The service was excellent and the food was plentiful but not fantastic. This could have been due to the large amount of people in our group (30). Although not hugely expensive, it was a little overpriced for what it was. I would be interested to see... More

As floating restaurants go, the Lotus is a tad on the dated side but that doesn't stop it serving good food at reasonable prices. Located five minutes walk from Crossharbour DLR station, this place can get very busy so it's advisable to book. There's an extensive menu with a range of drinks available. We ordered a wide range of starters... More
