This restaurant is one to avoid, the food was poor and the service was as bad. We had the mixed starter plate which was a deep fried disaster followed by in edible crispy beef which could easily have been cardboard inside with Kung po prawns which were a sugary gloppy mess. Price was way too high - unless you like... More

If you love Chinese then Lotus is a must visit. I've been to this restaurant many times as we used to live close by but on this occasion my husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. We asked for a table in the corner which had a lovely view of the river. We also told the waiter that we... More

Attended a private function on the top floor here a couple of nights ago. The hot buffet was delicious and plentiful. Bar prices were reasonable and the staff friendly.

When you hear of a floating restaurant, you think of a gimmicky place. There aren't many dining choices near the South Quay by Canary Wharf so we found this place. Food was way better than expected as was the service. Our waiter attended to our every need and even offered to have the chef make another small batch of fried... More

We opted for the £29 set menu, 3 course beginning with a mixed starter platter - pretty good, crispy duck pancakes - very nice, and two main courses with special fried rice and beef noodles, the latter was a meal in itself. We had crispy lamb with spicy plum sauce and prawns with chilli and black bean. Everything was good... More

Excellent dim sum and evening meals. The prices are very reasonable espcially the Dom Perignon which is just a fraction more than the supermarket price. The restaurant is situated on one of the inlets off the river Thames, so you always get a cool breeze coming of the waters. The waiting staf f are polite and attentive and they all... More

The restaurant offers great quality food, in a beautiful setting on a boat. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My family went for a meal for father's birthday and the staff was really great and made the evening perfect for us. The portions are decent, but most importantly the quality is good also. The beef with black bean sauce... More

A great restaurant, which seems to be the general consensus of TripAdvisor! A cute restaurant on the canal with a nice view! I'd always heard about the place but never actually got around to going! My friends and I eventually decided to give it a go a few weekends ago. About 5 courses later I am beyond satisfied with the... More

After living in Hong Kong for over 12 years, I consider myself to be very strict with dimsum quality in the UK. I came across Lotus two years ago and it's now become my go-to for dimsum. I usually go on Saturdays - which gets very busy - and always leave satisfied. The food always feels fresh and cooked to... More
