Having just returned from lunch here, I must add my thoughts. The " find your table, queue up and pay" system does not work, not at all. Used to be order at the table and I'm not happy with the new method. Our two glasses of Prosecco were half full when served, when challenged the assistant told me " it's... More

The Garden Cafe is a nice venue within the inner circle of Regent's Park, making a good place to stop for an early breakfast or snack stop during visits to the park. Serviced by Benugo, you can find a fair range of drinks, snacks, coffee & desserts (similar to what they offer in several museums around the city) and other... More

Had lunch a well earned rest and glass of wine, the food was very good, nice menu. There is seating inside and out. The staff are pleasant, but seem to be a little disorganised. However it did not spoil our meal in this lovely busy cafe in beautiful setting if you are in Regents Park it is worth a visit.

I used to love this place, loved it even more because it's near my uni, it was my favourite spot with my friends. But recently they were taken over by Benugo, and that changed the service style. I noticed that staff were quite unorganised and to some extent hesitant to serve. Not to be stereotypical towards the elderly, but I've... More

I was also surprised at the negative reviews of the food. I'm from California and ordered full English breakfast and cappuccino. Both were very good, with big flavorful sausage, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs that weren't runny and rustic toast. My friends also enjoyed their orders. I definitely will come here again if in the area.

I have been using this cafe for about ten years. It had, until recently, been a good place to call in for coffee with friends. However, I suspect that ownership has recently changed hands because the quality of service and beverage has gone downhill rapidly. The staff have yet to get an order right (asking for latte and getting cappuccino)... More

Having eaten here many times in the past, most recently in August 13 (when we had a great meal sat outside, which I suppose is its main selling point), we returned today & were hugely disappointed. At very best, the staff were disinterested. Worth noting that they've now changed to a 'go & order at the desk' set-up, including, annoyingly,... More

Service no so great but has a great menu and also does breakfast. Coffee terrible but have come to expect that where ever I go in England. Well worth the visit especially if you walking around the park or just want some time out and peace.

Wow I am so surprised to read of other reviewers' comments; I expected everyone must love this place. Admittedly the service staff is less than professional, unlike the quality of the food which was top nosh, but this is a café in a park. I had the lunch special of a white bean and vegetable soup served with a wedge... More

This is after all a cafe in a park so don't expect haute cuisine. We visit every year before the theatre and never have a bad meal. Usually very efficient service and tasty food with good seasonal ingedients, reasonably priced. Ask for a table outside if the weather is nice.
