Great find in Pimlico neighborhood

After a long day of exploring London we found ourselves back in our hotels neighborhood. Hungry we checked trip advisor and found Goya and so glad we did. We sat at the bar and enjoyed wine and tapas. If ever back in London will definitely be enjoying Goya again.

We went for tapas and drinks, meeting up with a friend for the evening. The place was busy, they tried to put us in the basement but we managed to get a table on the very busy ground floor in the end. The food was good, the wine perfectly drinkable being a white Rioja. The service was friendly. The price... More

This is a very good restuarant, we had a selection of tapas which was very good, the staff are very friendly and on the ball, we thought it was very good value for Central london , we sat upstairs which was very lively and very relaxed

Tapas bar, lots of choice on the menu, you can eat outside, in the bar area or downstairs in the restaurant. We ate in the bar by the open door to enjoy the fresh air on a warm Friday evening. Service good, food good, nice atmosphere.

Needed somewhere between three colleagues hotels resulted in Goya. Busy and pretty trad tapas, service efficient and friendly. Food absolutely fine, it ain't fine dining but it is tasty, varied and plenty of choice. Wine a bit hoh hum for the money but wasn't a problem ( well not after the second bottle!) recommended.

We popped into Goya the other night, have been there many times, but not for some time. The first thing that struck me was how sullen the waiters were. The waiter behind the bar did not smile all evening and acted like you were a inconvenience to him. The other waiters seems very stressed and moody. The food, which used... More

On our last night we wanted something different. Google maps showed us all the restaurants in the area and we chose Goya. Two menus, One Tapas one main course. Not sure what to order from the Tapas selection we chose from the menu. Everyone else was doing the Tapas. My wife had the chicken and mine was monkfish. Both were... More

Pretty weak in my opinion. The place sells itself as having won a "best restaurant in pimlico" award. I would suggest that this is a pretty low hurdle rate. Having lived around the corner for a number of years, my experience is that pimlico Is desperately in need of restaurants akin to elsewhere in london, but doesn't get them because... More

Spanish Staff, Menu in Spanish and English. Genuinely traditional cuisine. Small outside seating area great for people watching when the weather allows! Not cheap, but worth it.

I've been in Goya few times now and food is very tasty there. You can taste the freshness of the food. Loving Spanish mushroom omelet, paella, fabada, chorizo. Squids bit too chewy lately but that would be my only complaint.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
