We needed a restaurant in Islington for family and visiting friends (also with family). As regulars of Carluccio's in Pinner we had high expectations and this restaurant delivered. Easy to find and reach, we received a welcoming atmosphere, good food and attentive, though unobtrusive, service. Our party consisted of 5 adults, including 1 teenager, and 3 children. All tastes were... More

Called in for a bowl of pasta before the theatre. Met by a smiling member of staff and samples of the red and white wine of the day. A nice touch. The waitress was delightful, we enjoyed our pasta, the coffee was excellent, as was both the service and the atmosphere. We will go again.

This chain has a well oiled and presented system throughout , and works well. the food generally is reasonably price as are the wines. I would recommend the Montepulciano consistently good. It is a place where a man or woman on there own can comfortably dine at ease, children seem to be more than accepted. For me I love the... More

We went for a Sunday lunch since our original choice Ottolenghi up the road was too busy we settled for Carluccio's. Bad mistake! The Arrancini we had as starters were acceptable but the same cannot be said for the main courses. We had ordered a fish stew and the spinach and ricotta ravioli and both were bland and without any... More

Me & my wife popped in for lunch on Sunday 16th March. Very regrettable. The entrance & front windows are simply stunning with the dense italian deli feel. Unfortunately this was the only nice thing about our experience. This is the first time I've left a review, simply because the experience was that bad. The service was awkward & seriously... More

Carluccios has always teased me the world over - the eye watering deli and display gets the stomach juices flowing and I always think its going to be great. However, its always a bit of a let down. I think a few years ago I had a delicious lemon chicken risotto and the chocolate fondant is always divine. But this... More

Heard great things about Carluccios so thought we'd pop in! Decor was great. Had delicious Italian platter for starter and the calamari was to die for! Mains just as great. Only downfall was slightly slow service however food was worth the wait! Would recommend highly!
