Nice atmosphere, below average food

Nice movie themed decor inside, good for a drink - skip the food as its below par generally which is shame as the space is nice

The cafe has a good ambiance, but my salad nicoise was overpriced for what it was: some flaked canned tuna and egg over some salad leaves. Where were the green beans, or the anchovies? The few olives were cheap and rubbery. There was no dressing. We asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar which the waitress was obviously surprised to... More

Great tasting food, excellent service, great atmosphere and decor. I would come here again and again because everything is worth the pennies you spend here.

Such a nice setting but ruined by very very average breakfast food!!! Eggs benedict was not great - poached eggs were more like boiled and the muffin wasn't toasted or hot. Worst part was the service - due to an issue with the till roll we didn't get our coffees for half an hour from sitting down, we thought it... More

We met with thirteen members of the family for a birthday celebration. Cafe Rouge gave us an area to ourselves which worked really well and provided attentive service. The food was up to Cafe Rouge's normal high standard although the service was a little slow but on this occasion that suited us. The staff were very helpful particularly when an... More

This is a great place for breakfast. Served till mid day so handy after church on a Sunday. Children are well catered for and a wide variety of breakfasts offered. My favourite is eggs benny with smoked salmon followed by a great coffee or two

This venue has been revamped, it's fine but nothing special. The vegetarian options are really poor, certainly has gone down in recent years.

First time in my 50 yrs I have eaten in a restaurant for Christmas and I can say never again. £50 for lunch was a rip off. The salmon starter was minuscule. Crap wine over priced. Overall except for the company a huge disappointment

Three of us tried the lunchtime Rapid Menu - it appeared ok - the food though (Starter & Main) was disappointing - some poor preparation (reheated?)and/or poor quality ingredients - comparison is on price and quality with their competition.
