Have eaten at different Cafe Rouge before. Their prix fixe menus are very good value. Three of us all had different items and all were very tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. Wine list was fine too. A good local restaurant that needs to keep its good standard as lots of opposition in the area.

It's a nice cafe, atmosphere is vibrant. Breakfast is ok, portions small. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The coffee is delicious. I would describe it as over priced but well worth visiting if you have Tesco vouchers. if you give £2.50 of your tesco vouchers, you get £10 of vouchers for Cafe Rouge. Brilliant deal

The waitress was lovely , so friendly and polite . The food was good as it always is in cafe Rouge and very good value for money , the food came very quickly. Great for a quick bite after work.

Had the Poulet Breton for lunch at the Highgate branch and it was very delicious. The service was prompt and friendly, the ambience pleasant. Thee Soupe du Jour was also good. This was my first meal at Cage Rouge and I was quite impessed.

Being French, I always miss French food while living abroad. Café Rouge was a great surprise as the food is quite good and authentic for being a chain. I've always been happy with all of my trips to Café Rouge, until I moved to Highgate... I was so happy to have a café Rouge at my doorstep and the place... More

I write this review as someone with fond memories of an xmas meal at Rouge a few years ago, things have gone down hill seems since then, The service was almost none existent (at least it was nothing personal, other customers had to ask for the menu after being seated for almost ten minutes with nobody greeting them) unforgivable considering... i normally avoid all 'chain' type restaurants as i prefer a non standardised menu and an 'individual' chef to create something rather than copy a 'corporate style'.that said,as i was'nt paying and it had been selected by a friend,i proceeded to try out my first 'prix fixe' lunch and several bottles of the 'house red'.overall menu fairly standard but the... I am in agreement with the last post, if your there at the 5.30-7.00 slot when theres only a couple of customers and alot of staff its almost as if its treated as a social hour or two for staff. Front of house too gushing and over the top then long waits for drinks ordering and bills, four staff around... More

Thought I'd try Cafe Rouge again after an absence of a couple of years, Was especially attracted by what seemed to be a new menu. I sat down in the Highgate branch around 6.30; there were only two other customers. A waiter brought me a menu then wandered off. About five minutes later, a waitress came and put a candle... More

We enjoyed a simple lunch of steak and frites on Tesco vouchers, plus two bottles of house red, the children enjoyed the children's menu . The cafe rouge in Highgate has a great very French cafe atmosphere plus the staff being mainly French , just a good fun treat on Tesco, we paid for the wine of course but for... More
