We enjoyed the breakfast whilst sitting outside there is a good breakfast menu. As this was the summer months it was nice to sit outside and watch the world. This place is on the corner of Stockwell Street and is situated underneath the Ibis hotel. It's a chain restaurant but this place is run with a bit of local entrepreneurialship. The menu is not special but offers enough choice for breakfast or lunch. Even dinner would be fine but we didn't try this. We mainly enjoyed the terrace, for... More

Very enjoyable evening meal, the staff were very attentive, our French waitress was nice. The food was very good for us. The restaurant was very well patronised. Greenwich was buzzing with people on this Saturday evening.

We had breakfast here every day. Service was mostly good, better when not as crowded. Staff was always pleasant.

I was staying in the IBIS and as I was on business on my own, I just popped into the restaurant to check on the menu. The waitress promised me the best French onion soup in London so I stayed. She did exaggerate slightly but I had a very good meal , The atmosphere was excellent and the menu had... More

Very similar review to the one below! Took an hour for a drink to arrive, service slow and disinterested, and I had also finished my salad when the dressing arrived! Extra fries never arrived. Wouldn't come back.

Decided to be tourists in my own city. Visited for lunch with grown up children and dog. Seated outside. Service was slow and disinterested. With our main course salads dressing came when we had just about finished. Asked for water for the dog ....not an easy request....for this restaurant ....no container but a paper cup eventually appeared. Steak was very... More

Visited with my boyfriend and we were really disappointed. After all, the food was nice.. Service really disappointing. We sat down and had to wait looong time to order some water and 2 glasses of wine. We got hot glasses for the water, only mine filled with ice (don't understand what happened with my partner's ice??). When the food arrived... More

This cafe is attached to the Ibis Hotel Greenwich so very handy for having breakfast. 'English Breakfast' is available, but no buffet-style. You are attended to by staff who collected the chit showing I wanted English Breakfast which I received from Reception in the hotel. There appeared to be no cereals on offer, nor menu. I was just asked what... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
