I had a late dinner on a hot Saturday evening with a friend and we thought the food and service were well above average. I chose from the set menu and my friend had a dish from the a la carte. The food was good, with generous portions and efficient service. We liked the table arrangement of being part inside... More

My wife and I went there for my birthday treat; the restaurant was very busy with almost all customers seated outside. The service very pleasant and efficient and good value, food and drinks where excellent, you cannot beat sitting in the sun drinking a cold Stella, eating great food. We had a very pleasant afternoon enjoying the food and ambiance.... More

Good location but the staff seemed overworked, not too accommodating when requesting anything during dinner or breakfast. I asked for a glass for some water and was told to wait even though i went to the bar to collect...

Went with my family for a late lunch on a very hot Sunday afternoon and we were led to a table on the pavement in the shade. We had an excellent view of the high street with the Cutty Sark in the distance. The restaurant was very busy with almost all customers seated outside in the shade on the pavement... More

We ended up at Cafe Rouge by default, as our favorite Greenwich pub The Mitre, was for some weird reason closed on the day we visited, right in the middle of some huge festival, go figure! Had never really wanted to try Cafe Rouge, right across the street, as I live in France and tend to avoid French food elsewhere.... More

We ate dinner outside at Cafe Rouge when we stayed in the adjacent Ibis hotel, and then had breakfast there on the two mornings of our stay. The menu was good, the service very pleasant and efficient and good value. They did a great job of coping with the hotel diners, as well as others. Great location.

Cafe Rouge has been a place that I've wanted to visit for a while but never managed to find the time. However, whilst working on a show at the Greenwich Theatre, I managed to find time for a lunch there. We sat outside and it was beautiful for a start, sunny with a cool breeze. We were then immediately brought... More

We did get a nice seat outside, but the service was terrible. We spent so much time waiting for food, waiting for water, waiting for the messed up drink order to be fixed, waiting for the bill... we could have been enjoying the sights in Greenwich instead, and that was irritating. We were never asked if we needed anything once we... More
