With a prime location along Spring Street, this ASK Italian restaurant has recently gone through an extensive refurbishment. We've created a restaurant with a distinctive new look inspired by modern Italian design. And with the help of our expert friends, including awarding-winning chef Theo Randall, we've created a menu that features a range of simple, classic Italian food and an all Italian wine list.

Good, reasonably priced Italian food

Firstly a good gluten free menu - including pizza and pasta! Friendly staff and quick service Good choice on menu and genuine Italian - from someone who lives in Italy!. Near the hotel so not too far to walk after a day walking around London

The restaurant is large but tables are well spaced and staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is excellent, with a wide choice and quality goods.

I stopped in here on a whim after getting off a train at Paddington, on my way back to my hotel. It's fine for a solid meal. The garlic bread was really delicious. The pizza was fine, nothing to write home about but tasty--hard to mess up pizza! The service was slow at first because a bunch of people came... More

What a great place to eat. The wine list is limited, but who want french wines in an Italian restaurant. Quality Italian wines at a good price. What more do you need? All the pasta dishes a great but the Linguine Con Frutti Di Mare would be top of the list. The staff are friendly especially when they, with style,... More

I came here after watching Hetty Feather as it was close to the Vaudeville Theatre and close to the tube station we had to go to next. They served brilliant Italian food from pasta to pizza. We sat outside on the nice chairs and watched passers by. It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely return.

We chose this restaurant because of the proximity to Paddington station. I walk past this restaurant often on my way to the station. We sat in the side restaurant under the glass roof, great for us as we has lugguage to look after. The service was not rushed and food arrived promptly after the service prompts were made, so it... With 2 hours to kill at Paddington this seemed like a safe choice for a late lunch. It's Ask and the menu is the same as all the other Asks, so I don't know why you would expect otherwise. This Ask is pretty big and spacious on the inside and we were one of only a few customers so we... More

the rosemary bread was nice; only beer available was bottled peroni pasta was bland and flavorless - tho it did arrive hot. dreadfully inattentive service - i don't know if it is understaffing or ill training. practically had to set the table on fire to get noticed for a second beer; and the check. was so annoyed and bored, i... We visited this restaurant our first night in London. We did not book but got a table for 4. It was quite busy and the tables are close together. The service was friendly and fast. The menu was good and detailed and was great to see a visible option for Gluten free pasta. I chose the pizza as main and... More

Looking for somewhere to eat in the Paddington area we found Ask, It was bright and airy, with a good menu, but a large restaurant with few serving staff, who seemed to disappear when you needed them, despite only a quarter of the tables being full we had a long wait for service, drinks and then food, wouldn't go there...
