Best Schwarma in London

I haven't been for a number of years but always the best lamb chicken or mixed Schwarma always the best! Garlic sauce Tahini and chili sauces. Get all the salad and onion in the toasted panini type fare.

When we visited London, I made it a point to go see a kebab house. Since we were near Queensway, we decided to see if the Taza House fit the bill. Boy, did it ever. Our first night, we decided not to get the pepper/chili dressing on the shwarma. It was tasty. But the second night, we got the whole... More

I read a number of positive comments about this place and decided to give it a try. The shawarma was great. Even though the place is very simple, everything is fresh and delicious.

Chicken with a lot of vegetables wrapped in the pita... Good cure for worn-out stomach of the travellers. Price is also very reasonable. If you don't care about the "mood", this place is your choice.

Oh, this place is good - pick up a pitta for under a fiver and eat it on a bench in the park - it's just at the end of the road.

listen. this place became a family favourite when i first lived in london. My wife and I would drive from west london for the shawarmas regularly after we found the place in 2001. I left London in 2005, lived and worked across the middle east, and returned in 2013. It's still the same!!!! same guy, same quality, same shawarmas. Joy!... More

The shawarma taste was amazing! Good price for a fast food restaurant located in central London. Since it is a fast food restaurant, you cannot expect much for the service. If you want great shawarma in central London, this is the place.

Very reasonably priced and good food! Small inside for indoor dining as well as a small patio/outside dining area but do not let it deter you from standing in line to get some schawarma!

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
