We as a rule always make an effort to visit whilst we are in Liverpool. Previously we have had some excellent meals, however on this occasion we visited for Sunday lunch with a party of 8. The staff as always were excellent, however the food left us very underwhelmed. Starters were very nice, but let down by the the roasts,... More

this is the second time we have been to this restaurant and on both occasions we were blown away! The service is fantastic, we were served by Sarah, purely by chance both times.

One of the highlights of my fortnight of city trips, this restaurant has bags of atmosphere, excellent staff and top-notch food. Not expensive for what you get. My table was up in the gallery, and my one small complaint is I could see quite a lot of dust on the chandelier ( which is made out of deer antlers, by... More

Decided to take a quick break from shopping and pop in for a quick beer & glass of champagne. It's very relaxed, very chilled out and had a band playing gentle music in the background. Bar tender and waitress were both polite and attentive, we probably could have stayed there all afternoon. Will certainly be back in the day again

Alma de Cuba has transformed a cavernous old church into a magnificent bar restaurant and the food matches the splendour of the surroundings. Delicious cuisine with Latin American influences is complemented by great service (especially from Glaswegian Paul) and a very satisfying cocktails list. Well worth the short stroll from the city centre.

This is definitely one of the better venues in Liverpool, however, The Guinness not only the poorest quality that we had that night but also the most expensive. The restaurant may not sell as much Guinness as other drinks, but that is no excuse for serving a poor quality product. Don't let this put you off visiting this unique establishment!

Great food, really different, second time we have been and a must if you are in Liverpool. Great surroundings, the visit would have been perfect, but it was spoiled by our waiter, showing his disappointment, with our tip.

Fantastic setting. Huge but great atmosphere. Good value meals, lamb skewer best ever tasted. Attentive service. Central location, loved it.
